People say that there will always be that ex-lover of yours that you'll take back in your life anytime he wants. You could fall out of love for a moment but you know deep inside the feelings still linger and with one single trigger everything just comes back in a flash.

I have heard clichés like this, when your ex comes back in your life claiming proudly and insensitively that he has moved on from you and is freaking engaged.

These types of people deserve to be stabbed in the eye with a bread knife 738 times slowly.

How can someone be so inconsiderate? Just when you tell him to come back, he starts enumerating his riches which unfortunately included a fiancé.

'Fuck you Gray' I deeply wanted to say in his face but I couldn't, instead, I stared at his face not believing his words.

"I..." he started again trying to search for the right words to say. We may have started to look like idiots standing in the dance floor and not swaying with the music.

"That wasn't called for." He said again. "I'm very sorry" he pulled my hand and led me back to our table. I feel my hands cold and sweating. I was lost for words. My mind was all blank.

Alec had already returned to his seat and beside him was a girl probably on her early 20s. He looked at me worried because of the short moment I had with Gray but I gave him a smile for reassurance.

"Oh my God, it's Gabriella Conner." The girl beside him gasped as I took my seat. She must be Mr. Ford's granddaughter.

"Gabby, this is Vanessa Ford, Mr. Ford's granddaughter." Alec introduced her. She stood and offered her hand. I had to return the respect as I also stood and shook her hand.

"I'm Gabriella Conner. You can call me Gabby." I said smiling at her.

She giggled. "I'm a huge fan of yours!"

I chuckled. "Mr. Ford has informed me about that."

We all took a sit. Vanessa had asked to switch chairs with Alec so she can sit beside me. Alec gave in to her. Why didn't she just ask Gray? At least then Gray would have to sit farther from me.

"I heard you're going to do a movie with Aaron Tyler?" she asked. She sounded a lot like a reporter that it scared me.

"I'm not sure where you might have heard that." I answered. There was no official release on that. My company was planning on having my movie debut on a story that was starring Aaron Tyler. Although I did audition and my manager said I was first choice for the role, I wasn't really sure if I'd survive acting in love with Tyler. If I did get to torture and kill him in the movie then I'm all out for it. Unfortunately it is a love story and the company is seriously pushing me into it I probably have no choice but to go.

She sneered. "I'm a huge fan with resources."

"That's really creepy." I fake-laughed.

"I told my grandfather to ask the alleged director. He said they're just waiting for your confirmation on the role. I'm really excited for you. It would be your acting debut! I'm sure you'll do great like you always do."

"Uh. I haven't really confirmed on that. I mean, Aaron Tyler will lead that movie but I have not confirmed as lead female" I answered her afraid to spoil all her enthusiasm.

"How come?" she asked a little disappointed.

"Well...uhh." I didn't know that to answer her. I couldn't really say 'because I can't stand being with Aaron Tyler for a very long time' that will probably break her heart.
