Alec gave my hand a quick squeeze to reassure me. He opened the door to his side and gently went down the limo into the red carpet that was waiting for us. Flashes of camera had welcomed him.

I saw several cameramen trying to get pass the security to take a picture of what was inside the limo. I don't know what exactly they wanted to see in here. Maybe something that can lift up or bring down Alec and I's career.

Alec gave a small nod and wave to the people before offering his hand for me to grab and assist me to get down. I willingly took it and plastered a smile on my face.

The flashes of cameras would have blinded my eyes, but in the years of having to face them, I have accustomed myself to it.

"Ms. Gabriella." Someone shouted fighting against the security. I turned to her and saw it was Janneth. It must be weird to have a favourite reporter but I had one, and it was her.

Why did I like her? Because she only reports and writes what she sees, she doesn't stretch the story or cut the other parts of it just for the story to be more interesting and to be of her benefit. Everyone should be like her.

I turned and smiled at her stopping right in front of her to give her the interview she wants. I saw her smile.

"What are your thoughts on being awarded tonight?" she asked then turned the recorder to me. The security loosened their hold.

"I am very grateful for this award. I also want to thank the board for they were able to see my efforts" I answered her.

"Congratulations Ms. Gabriella." She smiled.

"Thank you." I answered her.

The reporter beside her suddenly spoke, her microphone reaching for Alec. "Mr. Alexander, is it true that you're proposing to the daughter of the Wu Airlines, Ms. Wu Lian?" she asked.

"Lian and I are friends." Alec cleared. "We're close friends. We do not share the kind of relationship you think we do." He smiled.

"When we asked your father he said he will reveal in the right time. What can you say about that?" she asked again.

"There is nothing to reveal." Alec answered, his jaw slightly clenched. "I don't have a relationship with Lian except that we are friends. We are really good friends, and it's really sad for her to be dragged into the gossips."

The reporter slightly nod, and just when we thought she had enough and we were about to leave, she shifted the microphone to my direction.

"How about you Miss Gabriella? What are your thoughts in the rumour that you are dating Aaron Tyler?"

Deep inside I gawked but I didn't show them instead I forced a smile and answered. "Aaron is also a good friend of mine. We're not dating."

That was a complete lie.

Aaron Tyler and I hate each other to the guts.

Who wouldn't hate Tyler? He is an annoying, egotistical superstar who doesn't know just when to stop and grow up.

He reminds me so much of High School and it makes me hate him more.

"But how do you explain those pictures?" she asked again.

I have seen those pictures the other night. Michaela showed them to me. Apparently the picture of Tyler reaching for my hand while I was laughing had become viral and BAM, they resolved to thinking that we're already dating.
