7 months later.

Charlotte's POV.

It's has been months since I last saw Damien and I am happy that he moved on, just like me. I did cry myself to sleep the day I heard they decided on the wedding date but I am glad he is marrying the women he deserves. A little part of me wanted to be the finance he will marry in six months but I guess I deserve better than a man who broke my heart twice.

"Charlotte, I'm leaving." Aiden said, kissing me on the cheek. "You sure you will be fine?"

"Yes, now leave before I change my mind." I replied. Aiden and I started seeing each other six months ago. He is the sweetest guy I have ever met and somehow he behaves like my brother and he thinks like Damien but he isn't short-tempered like them.

"You know I don't mind staying." He smiled at me and I shook my head. I can't be selfish, I already made him miss work because of a false alarm.

"Aiden just go to work, I promise I will call you if I need anything." I pushed him. "Now go please."

"I love you." He kissed my belly. "Be good to your mother."

"He will start kicking again if you don't leave." I told him and he nod his head. "Come back soon." I kissed him before he left.

I picked my phone up and dialed Layla's number. She is the only other person that knows I am pregnant. I never wanted her to find out but she barge into my house in the middle of the night last month and I couldn't send her away when she was crying. She and Carlos had a fight and I am her only family after Benjamin who is still heartbroken. After Layla found out I had to beg her to hide this secret from Benjamin because I know my brother will kill Damien.

"Hi Layla, are you still coming today?" I asked.

"I am on my way Charlotte, I hope your boyfriend is there." She said and I giggled.

"I promise you will meet him." I said before disconnecting the phone. I still need to introduce Aiden to Layla. I know he agreed to meet her but I don't want them to meet. The first time I started dating Damien I introduced him to all my friends and even had a double date with Layla and Carlos but he still broke my heart after everything. I know Aiden is not the same, he would never break my heart but I can't introduce him to Layla. What if history repeats itself and he leaves me.

I should stop stressing. Stress is not good for me and my baby. Aiden will start lecturing me if I end up in the hospital because of stress, again.

I heard the doorbell and checked who it was before opening the door.

"You bought food." I took the bag from her and she rolled her eyes. "Sorry, but you know I love food." I quickly locked the door.

"I know but would it hurt if you thanked me and gave me a kiss on the cheek." Layla said and I kissed her. "So where is Aiden?" She asked and we both took a seat.

"He is at work, he will come home soon." I replied.

"You make excuses every time, I am starting to think you don't want us to meet." She crossed her arms across her chest.

"That's not true." I got up. "I'll bring plates for us so we can eat."

"No." She snapped. "You pregnant, I will go fetch the plates." She forced me to sit down and all of a sudden I started getting cramps. "Char, is something wrong?"

"I'm fine. Go get the plates please." I smiled and she left for the kitchen. The pain got worse and my water broke. I started screaming in pain and Layla came running to me.
