Damien's POV.
I polished my gun. Benjamin has always been lucky but I guess his luck ran out. I was jealous of him since childhood but today I actually feel sorry for him. Getting hurt and losing the people I care about is nothing new for me but Benjamin only lost one person he loved the most in this world. If Sofia dies, he will never move on. I hate to admit it but that fool really loves her more than anyone in this world.
"You leaving now?" Diego asked and I nod my head.
"Call me if anything happens here. I have to see goodbye to Sofia."
"I have to tell you something important so please come back." Diego replied.
"I will after I make sure that Elijah is fine. He is going to lose both his parents and I know how that feels."
"You still care about Benjamin so why are you punishing him for what happened years ago."
"My father died, that ended our relationship but I am still Elijah's uncle. I have to help him for the child's sake."
"You would make a great father." He smiled at me.
"I don't want to children, Diego." I shook my head. "Children are not for me so look after this place and don't forget I want an update on Charlotte when I return."
I arrived at the hospital and Benjamin was with Sofia. She has been in this coma for too long. I should've switched off when I had the chance. I should've done it a long time ago. At least Benjamin and Elijah wouldn't have to go through this today.
I opened the door to Sofia's room and Benjamin was singing for her.

I started clapping and he stopped singing. He is just like his mother.
"You didn't lose your voice." I said the second he turn to me.
"I'm a Forbes too after all." Benjamin kissed Sofia on the forehead.
"True." The only difference between him and me is that I chose to stay away from the woman I care about but he, he is losing the woman he loves and he can't do anything about it.
"What are you doing here, Damien. You said tomorrow." I know I would never switch her machine off without telling him.
"We just come to say goodbye like yo--"
"Who's we?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Charlotte, and my fiancée." I saw them both fighting outside the hospital. I didn't even bother talking to them because I know, whatever happens, Charlotte is supposed to stay away from me.
"How do they even get along ?" He smiled at me.
"I wish I never met them both. But they here just to see Sofia and they never have to meet again." I walked closer to Sofia. "Now can I say my goodbye to her before they both come in here fighting."
"Sure. But I still want to know how you responsible for Sofia's machine. Don't even tell me that bullshit about me being irresponsible because I know you, Damien." He asked me this a million times but I always lie to him.
