Charlotte's POV.

"You didn't have to wait for me, Benjamin." I got out of Damien's car.

"I wanted to. Now let's go inside before Elijah destroys Jay's house." We all went inside but Elijah was nowhere to be found. I am sure he is playing with the other kids.

"You guys looked like a real family when you came in." Jay clapped and I smiled.

"Were you guys in a fight? Just look at both your faces, it's definitely going to scare the Kids today." Diego laughed.

"Damien thought it would be a great idea to show up at my house after what he did to my sister." Benjamin told them the truth.

"Wait." One of Damien's friends came running. "You and Damien like in your cousin had a fight last night and none of you thought of inviting me to come watch."

"I don't believe you two had a fight. I think Damien was in trouble and you went to save him and also got a few punches in the face." Diego folded his arms across his chest.

"Who is the lucky person that had to watch this fight. I really can't believe you guys had a fight without me." Jay pouted and I walked away.

Damien kept following me everywhere as if I was going to escape and run away from Elijah's birthday party.

"Why didn't you bring Cassandra?" I asked.

"Are you still jealous?" Damien giggled.

"No." I rolled my eyes. "You are following me everywhere as if I am your girlfriend that is why I asked about Cassandra. And by the way Damien I moved on, long time ago so if you think I am waiting for your love then you are crazy than I thought."

"Hey,Char." Diego's brother took Adrian from me. "He is such a cutey. I can't believe I didn't know a mini-Damien existed."

"You don't even let me keep him." Damien snapped.

"Well, I am his mother and I don't want an asshole like you touching my son." I said. "By the way, is your name Tucker Smith?" I turned to the man holding my baby.

"You forgot me, Charlotte." His jaw dropped.

"I haven't seen you in years so I am just making sure it's you and not the devil." I looked at Damien angry.

"Can I borrow Charlotte for a second." Carlos pulled me and I left my baby with Tucker. "Listen, I want to propose to Layla and I need your help."

"You didn't even tell her about what you did in high school and now you want to propose to her." I took his handoff. "You disgust me so don't even touch or talk to me again."

"Charlotte that is the past. I have changed and I promise to tell Layla the truth soon so please just record this moment for me. You know me better than most people. You know I love Layla and she loves me. Charlotte, please just help me propose to Layla. I really need my friend now."

"I can't watch you marry Layla when you cheated on her." I said.

"Charlotte." He took my hand. "I have known you since you were just two and I have loved you as a sister and I still do. Char, you know deep down that I love Layla and I never once hurt her."

"She doesn't even know you cheated."

"Char, please. If you won't do it for me then do it for Layla. She always helped you."

"Listen, Carlos, you can propose to Layla but you can't marry her until you come clean." I trust Carlos and I know he will tell Layla the truth. He really loves her a lot.
