Chapter 40.

Damien's POV.

I still can't believe Charlotte hid Adrian from me. She always said she hates lying and hiding the truth from me but I guess she really changed a lot. 

"Stop thinking about your ex." Tucker said coming in with Benjamin. 

"I thought we were going to meet at your place." I said to Benjamin, ignoring Tucker. 

"Well, I met Tucker on my way home and he said you wanted to meet here, that is why I came here."  

"Who cares where we were supposed to meet? We all here now, so let's talk about who is the mastermind behind everything that happened to Sofia." Tucker said, taking a seat. 

"Sorry, I am late." Diego came in and I quickly walked to him. "You look extra serious toda--." I punched him in the face. I can't believe he has been carrying this act for weeks. I thought he would tell me after I found out about Charlotte and our baby but instead, he decided to act like he never knew about the baby. Sometimes I wonder if I should even trust him? He decided to be loyal to Charlotte instead of me so why do I still trust him.

"Why the hell did you just punch him?" Benjamin asked.

"I asked him to spy on Charlotte but instead he just kept everything to himself. He knew Charlotte had a baby before I found out." I said.

"I can explai--." Benjamin quickly punched Diego and Tucker jumped up.

"Why are you two ganging up on my brother?" Tucker snapped. "Are you okay, Diego?" He asked and Diego nods his head. "So you also kept Charlotte's secret from me?" Tucker punched Diego. "That is for being a bad brother." 

"I only kept Charlotte secret because she forced me to do it. She said she is going to hurt herself if I told anyone about her baby, especially you Damien. That is why I kept it a secret. I swear I would've told you all about Adrian if Charlotte wasn't suicidal." Diego explain.

"Charlotte isn't suicidal, she would never hurt herself. She fucking fooled you." I said and Benjamin shook his head. "What?"

"Can we just do what we came here for rather than talking about my sister." Benjamin said. 

"Okay." We all agreed and started talking about Sofia's kidnapping. It's very hard to think of anyone who would kidnap Sofia when Benjamin's friends are all loyal and scared of him. 

I would blame all this on the Jailson guy who is Benjamin's friend but everything I heard about him just makes it hard to suspect him. Diego and Tucker are both my close friends and I know they are not capable of betraying someone. Carlos and Jay knew Benjamin since we were kids so I guess I can't accuse them. But I don't trust them because the person who Kidnapped Sofia is very close to us and they the only friends of Benjamin that are very very close to Benjamin. I just wish we could convince Benjamin to suspect Jay, Carlos, and Jailson.

"Where's Casandra?" I asked Charlotte the second I got home. I hope she didn't kill my fiancee.

"She's in her grave." She replied.

"Charlotte, I don't have time for your games, so tell me why Casandra's car is not outside. Did she move out or did you two have a fight?"

"She went to her parents for the night." Charlotte said. "Now don't bother me." She locked herself in her room.

I went to Adrian's room and he was sleeping. At least Charlotte is following this rule by letting Adrian sleep in his own room. 

I have to send Casandra a message and ask her why she left all of a sudden. I don't trust Charlotte.

I looked for my phone but I couldn't find it anywhere. I must've forgotten my phone at work. I knocked on Charlotte's door and she opened it.
