Chapter 44.

Charlotte's POV.

I got ready for my date with Aiden. I can't wait for him to come pick me up. I don't want Damien in my face right now.

"Charlotte just cancel your plans." Damien said and I rolled my eyes. "Listen, Adrian is a baby, he will need you to breastfeed him soon."

"Just give him his bottle." I told him. "But if you really so concern about Adrian then let me take him with."

"No!" He snapped. "He is my son and I can take care of him." I knew he wouldn't agree.

The doorbell rang and Damien ran to get it. Why the fuck is he acting like he is the one going on a date with Aiden.

"Adrian is not feeling well so come back tomorrow." Damien said and I pushed him out of the way. 

"He is lying." I told Aiden. "I will quickly grab my purse so ignore Damien." I ran to the couch and grabbed my purse. "Let's go." I pulled Aiden's arm and he just moaned in pain. 

"Wait." Damien stopped us. "What's wrong with you?" 

"Nothing." Aiden answered. "Charlotte was just a little hard on me." 

"I am a doctor let me see." Damien quickly grabbed his arm.

"Okay." Aiden took his jacket off and showed Damien his wound. It wasn't stitched or anything.

"Aiden we need to take you to the hospital." I said and he shook his head.

"I need to first take my beautiful girl on a date before I go to the hospital." He smiled. "Now let's leave so you can be back home before Adrian wakes up looking for his mother."

"Hold on!" Damien stopped us again. "When did you get hurt and how did you get hurt?" 

"Well, I got hurt just now, outside your house." Aiden replied. "You rich Mr. Knight yet the front of your house is so unsafe. You should get someone to fix it before Charlotte or someone else get hurt." 

"You think I will believe that?" Damien chuckled. "I know you lying."

"Damien, just leave us alone." I snapped. "Get your own life and stop being annoying." I took Aiden's hand and left the house. I am so sick of Damien trying to break my relationship with Aiden. Why am I cursed to have a sweet boyfriend that can never say No or tell someone to leave him alone? When I was with Damien I never worried about people bullying him but now with Aiden my biggest fear is Damien getting in his head. What if Damien threatens him and he breaks up with me. I have been thinking about that for days now.

"Charlotte!" He patted me on the shoulders. "We are here so can we go." 

"Sure." I followed him. Aiden's arm is bleeding but he is so stubborn, he will never agree to see the doctor until this 'date' is over. "How's your arm?"

"I'm fine Charlotte. I am not someone who would risk his health. I am really good, trust me." He smiled. "Now can we order?"

"I am worried about you Aiden so why don't we just have our date at the hospital." I suggested and he giggled.

"I am not my brother." He started coughing. "I don't like hospitals like my close friends."

"You have a brother?" I questioned and he shook his head.

"I don't have a biological brother but I have close friends I call brothers." He smiled. 

"Okay." I replied. "Aiden, I saw you with Benjamin and Jay a couple of times so tell me how you know them. I know Benjamin knows we dating so how did you get along?"
