"Cassandra can you I take your car please?" I asked but she shook her head getting up.
"I'll take you wherever you want." She said and I quickly agreed running out of the restaurant with them. I seriously exercised more then a week for today.
"Where we going?" Cassandra asked as we all got in the car.
"My house and please drive fast." I told her.
"Charlotte I got a call from your house and there's actually nothing left of it." Layla said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I'm sorry but your house burn down."
"I'm- it's can't. He can't die. I just found out about him my brother doesn't even know." I cried and Cassandra stopped the car.
"We here next to your dead house." Of course she would be happy about the fact my house is gone.
"Thanks." I got out of the car and ran to my house. There was nothing left of it. Elijah is gone. How can I be so irresponsible, why didn't I just let Benjamin see him and then maybe I would've never left him here.
I broke down in tears sitting on the floor and watching the place my dear nephew died. How can I live with myself when I know I killed him. Layla was holding me but she doesn't even know what I have done. If she knew what I have down then she wouldn't be comforting me now.
"Here's your phone ma'am." I looked up at the man that was handing me my phone. "That guy over there said I should give it to you." He pointed at the end of road and I saw that asshole who I once called my boyfriend standing there.
"HEY." I shouted getting up but Damien just waved at me. "YOU KILLED HIM." I added still shouting and walking to him. He quickly got in his car and drove away.
His such a coward.
I looked at my phone and saw twenty one missed calls from Anna. She's definitely going to really kill me. My phone rang again and it was her again.
Why the hell didn't I just die in that house too?
I quickly answered the call wiping my tears. "H-i." I said.
"What the hell were you thinking Charlotte. Do you even know he is only three years old. He turned three a few weeks ago." Anna shouted.
"I know. I'm really so sorry. It's my fault, and I just wanted to make sure Benjamin doesn't see him so I left him--"
"I didn't know Benjamin came to your house, I'm really sorry. But next time just make sure you don't leave him outside my house." She interrupted me.
"Elijah is there?" I asked excited. I thought he died in my house.
"Why you so surprised. You left him outside my house didn't you?" She asked.
"Of course I did." I lied but there was no way I would sell myself out. "Did Elijah say anything. Did he take something that's mine?"
"Actually he was angry when he came home. He kept shouting and when I asked what happened he said 'idiots'."
"I'm so happy his fine, can I came visit if you don't mind?" I asked.
