Charlotte POV.
The next day as soon as my brother left, I went out. I know the media will be everywhere after all I have been missing for a year and my house burn down recently because of my ex.
I took a deep breath as I entered the coffee shop. No more party's, drugs, drinks or boys. I promised myself.
A lady was buying a coffee so I stood at the back of her covering myself and only showing my eyes. I don't want everyone to see me who else there will be a big scene.
The coffee shop was full just like every morning. Something I hate about this please.
"Can I help you?" A women asked and before I could order I felt someone touch me and I quickly turned around. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" I smacked him.
"It's you." He mumbled and I remembered where I met him before.
"Are you following me now." I shouted at the guy who switched my drugs with sugar.
"Actually I was already here, you the one following me." He shouted creating a scene.
"Don't shout at me." I told him.
"I'm just returning the favor Charlotte Carson." He shouted for everyone to hear. "Charlotte Carson is here everyone. Come get your autograph."
"I don't want to sign for anyone, get out of my way." I tried to push him but he garbbed my hand. "I will beat you up if you don't let go of me."
"You just like your mother, Caroline." He started. "She used to chase after Benjmain's father and you chasing after his cousin." He continued. "You not the women the late Lily Forbes Carson Black raised. You are not the girl she fought for." He let my hand go. "She told the world even if Caroline gave birth to you, that doesn't make her a mother. A mother is someone who raises her child with love. Just because Caroline gave birth to you, you are following in her footsteps. You the kind of women that gives other womens a bad name."
"You know nothing about me." I shouted wiping my tears.
"The truth hurts Carson." He left before I could tell him he was wrong. Everything I ever did was for my mother, Lily Carson. Not the women who wanted to abort me because my father didn't want her.
"Miss Charlotte, where have you been?" A journalist asked and before I could say anything another one started to question me. "Did you take a break from the music industry just like your mother?"
"My mother was a lawyer, not that bitch and I am not even part of the musi---."
"Who is the boyfriend that left you?" A journalist asked interrupting me. "You were suppose to sing at new years but everyone was told you were kidnapped. Is it true?" I tried to answer but someone bumped into me and dropped a file. I picked it for them and turned around to give them their file. I could hear the journalist asking more questioned but I decided to ignore them. Last time I answered them, they changed everything I said.
"Is this yours ma'am?" I questioned a lady standing next to me but before she could answer a gun was shot and everyone started screaming.
Unknown's POV.
I walked out of the coffee shop and after a few minutes I heard a gunshot. I'm sure it is connected to that fat angry lady. I don't understand why she needs drugs when she has a perfect life. I grew up hiding from the world and not once did I think of using drugs.
I ran back to the coffee shop and everything was a chaos.
"Let me help you." I offered her my hand and she started laughing at me. I know I switched her drugs to sugar yesterday, now why is she laughing like crazy.
