This chapter is just to update you where this story starts and whats going on. I finished Your Eyes like it wouldn't have a sequel so I'm going to have to take back some of what I said and rebuild a start here.
Bear in mind I am keeping the same character personalities and experiences as described in your eyes.
Alira, her dad and Rocky live in Darwin. Rocky is educated at a local church set up as a school, which has a total student population of 8.
Alira works at a plant nursery in the city, an hour from her home. She doesn't have any proper friends from Darwin.
Ruel and his family live in Alira's old Sydney home. He has continued writing songs but unknown to people he's taking a break from his job and rethinking the career while spending time at home and with friends.
