"Livana!"

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. That definitely wasn't my mom's voice.

"Psst, Livana?" I heard, followed by some knocking.

I stood up from my bed and walked over to my window. It was dark, so I could only see shapes, but Niall's blonde hair was clearly visible in the light of the moon. I smiled and opened my window a little more. "What are you doing?"

"I wanted to, you know, climb by."

I laughed and let him into my room. "It's nice to see you again."

"Yeah, likewise."

I bit my lip, trying to keep the thoughts of how I've felt these past couple of days away.

"How have you been?"

I knew he meant how many panic attacks have I had since he left. "Four..."

His eyes widened. "Really?"

I nodded and walked back over to my bed.

"Liv, I am so sorry. Next time I go see a friend in London, I'm bringing you with me." He was smiling, but he looked as serious as ever.

"You don't have to do that."

"I want to. Honestly, it wasn't the same without seeing you."

I blushed and turned away.

"I brought you something," he said, pulling out a square object wrapped in shiny blue wrapping paper.

"Niall!"

"And yes, it was a must."

I shook my head, but I was smiling.

"Open it!"

I laughed and started ripping it open. My eyes widened when I saw the familiar cover of one of my favorite books. "Oh my god."

"Are you happy?"

"Beyond!"

"I saw it in the window of a book store and immediately thought of you."

"Niall, you are amazing, thank you." I moved the book aside and got closer to him so I could hug him.

"You're welcome."

After a few more seconds, we pulled apart, but I kept my arms resting on his shoulders.

"Uh.. I should probably go..."

"Oh..."

"I haven't even seen my mum yet," he laughed.

"Oh! So what are you doing here?" I laughed, and removed my arms.

"I really wanted to give you your book."

I smiled and stood up. "And thank you for the book Niall, but you should definitely go and see your mom."

"Probably." He didn't move though, just stayed on my bed smiling up at me.

I laughed and grabbed his hands, pulling him to his feet and then guiding him to my window. He climbed outside and stopped with one foot on the branch.

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Good. Enjoy your book."

I smiled and nodded, and watched him climb down the tree with a lot more ease than I would have had. Then I walked back over to my bed, put my hair in a bun, and started reading The Sweet Far Thing again.
