Niall wasn't laying next to me when I woke up, which I was a little disappointed with, but I figured he had to get home before his mom noticed he was gone. Besides, I'm sure I'll see him later anyway. I showered and got dressed, then left my hair straight. I could hear my mom in the kitchen as I walked downstairs, and I braced myself for a million questions that she was probably going to ask.

"Hey honey, are you hungry?"

What? "Um, a little bit."

She handed me a plate with a waffle covered in Nutella, with strawberries and grapes off to the side. After a few bites, I sighed and looked up at her.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked.

"No."

"Then why so silent? I was expecting a million and one questions that I could never possibly answer."

"You like Florida, right?"

"What?"

"Or would you rather go to California instead?"

"What are you talking about?"

"We're moving."

"Again?" I could already feel the tears falling just at the thought of leaving Niall and Zeva. "Why?"

"Business stuff. So, California or Florida?"

"Uh...California, I guess."

"Okay."

"When are we supposed to leave?"

"You should start packing when you're done eating. There's boxes over there."

"Mom, when?"

She sighed. "Wednesday. We leave Wednesday, so that I have time to move into our home."

"You already have a home picked out?"

"Yes and it's gorgeous. You'll love it Livana. Not just the house, but California."

"I'm leaving my friends behind, again."

"Zeva's coming with us."

"What?"

"I've already cleared it with her mom, and she's packing right now."

Okay, that makes it a little better, but I'm still going to miss Niall. I just wiped at my eyes and nodded, then I placed my plate in the sink and carried some of the boxes upstairs. I didn't even start packing, I just climbed out my window and down to the ground. I knocked on Niall's door and prayed that he would open the door. Unfortunately, it was his mom. Great.

"Um, h-hi. I-I'm Livana-"

"Oh, Livana! It's so nice to finally meet you," she said pulling me in for a hug. "Niall talks about you all the time."

"He does?"

She nodded.

"Is he here?"

"Oh god, no. He hasn't lived with me in years! Why don't you come in for a second while I look up the name of the hotel?"

I nodded and walked inside. I just awkwardly stood in her living room and waited for her to return with something, anything about where Niall was. She finally returned after a few minutes with a tiny piece of paper.

"Here you go, love. The hotel name, floor, and room number are all on there. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine. Um.. What does Niall say when he talks about me?"

"Just how special you are, and how sweet and caring, and how beautiful you are. Inside and out." She smiled warmly, "That's what he talks about the most."
