Liv's POV
I'm sure I looked crazy. I've had a smile on my face for the past three days even though practically nothing has happened since then. We've been talking a lot though, and he's been letting me in some more. He's talked about his parents, his childhood, why he writes the songs he does, what inspires him, everything. Zeva's been hounding me for details, but all I've been able to give her was that things were changing, and I was falling.
"Well, does he still love you?" she asked, after a long period of silence.
"I don't know. I hope he still feels something for me, because I don't know what I'd do if he didn't. I'm not as strong as he is.."
"That's true. He did stick around after all the times you rejected him."
"Thanks for the reminder."
"You started it."
"True."
"I hear he's taking you out tonight," she smiled.
"I hear Liam's taking you out," I smirked. "How long have you guys been together?"
"I honestly have no idea. It feels like we've been together for months, when it's actually only been almost a month. So close to being a month.."
I laughed and took a few pictures of a fountain, and then moved it to an old couple that looked like they only fell in love yesterday. "Do you think he'll say it? Are you ready for him to say it?"
"Honestly," she breathed. "I've been ready since the benefit.."
"Really?"
She nodded and took a deep breath. "Am I crazy?"
"For being in love with Liam? No way. I see the way you guys are when you're together, and I don't think I can picture you with anyone else."
"Really?"
"Yes! Zeva I swear. I've never seen anyone look at another person the way Liam looks at you. He's happier as soon as he sees you, and he always has a smile on his face. He knows how to deal with your attitude, he knows how to make you happy, and I've never seen you care so much about someone other than me, for once. You weren't even like this with your ex."
"I'm in love.." She laughed and shook her head.
"I'm sorry, did I hear that correctly?"
We both looked away from each other and at the older couple I had photographed earlier.
"Um, yes," Zeva smiled.
"Sit, sit!" the woman smiled, and sat on the edge of the fountain, pulling her husband down with her. Zeva and I sat down next to her. "Tell me about this boy you're in love with," she said in her thick accent.
Zeva smiled the biggest smile I had ever seen, and started spilling every detail about her and Liam. which was nice, because I honestly didn't know any of this. I felt guilty for only thinking about what was going on between me and Niall and not even considering how happy my best friend was for finally meeting a guy that is so great. I should have been there for her so she could talk about it, because considering how much she was talking right now, she had been holding back a lot on how she felt.
"He's just... He's the greatest guy I have ever met, and I'm immensely proud of him for being able to deal with my incredible amount of sass," she laughed.
The woman laughed and gave a knowing look to her husband. He smiled and kissed her cheek softly. "And you?" she asked me.
"Me what?"
