"Eli has been staring at you all night," Zeva whispered to me.
I glanced across the fire to where he was sitting and sighed. Yup, still staring. "Yeah I know."
"I think someone has taken a liking to you," she smirked.
Super.
"I don't get a good feeling from him," Niall whispered.
"I agree," Luke said.
Thank god they see it too. "I'm not really interested," I softy said.
Niall looked at me.
"No, god! I'm not saying I'm not interested in what you think, because of course I am. I'm not interested in Eli.." I quickly explained.
He just nodded once, and acted like he wasn't relieved, but I could still see it. "Look, you can do whatever you want, but I really don't trust him."
"Niall I don't want to date him, okay?"
"So what made you move here Liv?" Eli asked.
"Oh um.. My mom got a job transfer."
"Do you think you'll stay here if she gets another one?"
"Probably. I think we both really like it here."
"You're eighteen, right?"
"Yeah. I'll actually be nineteen in a few days."
Niall's eyes widened and he moved closer to me. "Why didn't you say anything?"
"We weren't speaking.. Plus you were all the way in London so I didn't think it'd matter."
"I love you, Liv, everything about you matters to me."
"So considering all the guys that are here, you have to be dating one of them."
I focused my attention back on the smirk of the boy across from me. I really thought about telling him that Niall was my boyfriend thinking that maybe he would back off a little, but I didn't. "No, I-I'm not uh, I'm not dating anyone," I stuttered.
I heard Niall sigh softly before he moved right next to me and leaned back on his arms. He was so close that his leg was touching mine, but I didn't really care. The small amount of contact was enough to relax me significantly. I looked at him and he gave me a small smile before looking back at Eli. I could see his protective side starting to come out slowly.
"You sure? Niall there looks like he wants to."
I opened my mouth to say something, but Niall cut me off. Thank god, because I don't know what I would've said.
"Why does it matter to you? Are you going to try and date her?" he asked. Eli's smirk grew and I moved closer to Niall.
"Just asking."
"Yeah fucking right," Luke mumbled from behind me.
"Or it could be the blonde behind you. Luke, right?"
"Yeah," he said.
"I see you have a type."
"Luke and I are just friends.."
"Okay," he smiled. "I get it."
"Why are you so curious about Liv?" Niall asked him harshly, and loudly, which caught the attention of everyone. "I noticed no one has asked anything about Zeva."
"Good point. Maybe I do find Liv attractive, not that I don't find Zeva attractive but she seems a little more interested in the guy next to her."
I looked over at them and Zeva was sitting in the middle of Liam's legs with his arms around her. I could tell that he was a little tense now that she was mentioned. My heart hammered in my chest and I wasn't sure at all where this was going to lead, but by the amount of testosterone flying around, I knew it wasn't going anywhere good.
