Stupid War (BTS Story)

12. One happy trip

"I couldn't find him," confesses Jimin.

No response from Jin. He is busy reading a book about building architecture. They are in his bedroom.

"Jungkook is gone, Jin."

Finally Jin lifts his head. Jimin looks dead worried.

Jin only says, "Go find him. I'll be here."

"Are you sure? This is a Vampire lair."

"Just go. I'm not that defenseless," says Jin when he touches a silver knife hidden in his belt.

"I will be back soon."

Jimin is heading to the door when it got opened from outside. The door slams Jimin's face quite hard until it breaks apart.

The Gargoyle rubs his face. It hurts like Hell. If he isn't made from stone, he would have suffered serious impact by now.

Suga doesn't even apologize to Jimin.

He only asks, "Are you coming or not?"

Jin only raises his eyebrows. He looks annoyed because he has been distracted from his study.

"The green heads got your friend and Irene. They are heading to Luna."

Jin closes the book. He puts it into his bag. He writes a short memo and he puts it on a side table.

"V, I'm borrowing few books from your library."

Jin starts to put the books into one of his bags. Jimin packs the rest of their belongings.

Suga warns, "Luna is the stronghold of Werewolves. We are on our own. V couldn't send any back ups for us."

Jin asks, "You are heading to Luna alone. Isn't it a suicide mission?"

"I will save Irene. Even if I have to die for her."

Jin shakes his head. This vampire had lived too long. Maybe he's just tired of living.

Jimin asks, "Are you sure Jungkook is out there? I told him never leave this palace."

"You don't believe me?"

"No, it isn't like that. Forget what I said."

It feels awkward in the black SUV car. No one says anything. Total silence mode. Suga is driving the car. Jimin and Jin are sitting on the back.

Jimin is eating an apple.

Jin is busy reading a book. Suddenly he opens his mouth widely. Jimin grabs another apple and presses it to his mouth. Jin takes a bite. Jimin keeps feeding him like that. Jin never takes his eyes of his book.

"What are you, a baby?" mocks Suga.

Jin grabs the apple from Jimin's hand. He bites it, making loud crunchy noises. His eyes return back to his book.

"Keep your eyes on your food, human. You don't want to eat the fat worm," mocks Suga.

Jin stares to his apple. A worm chooses that moment to peek out of the red juicy apple. Jin curses and he opens a car window. He throws the half eaten apple out of the car.

Jimin only smirks at him when Jin is pouting. The apple looks fine from the outside. It got a rotten core.

Suga stops the car few miles outside Luna. It's daylight. He hisses a little when he opens the door. He has parked his car under a large tree. It gives them enough shadow right now.
