Stupid War (BTS Story)

27. Carnival night

Cotton candy. Candy apple. Corn dog. Too many delicious new dishes tonight. V never eat such foreign human food. The blood slave never makes foods like this back in the palace.

RM shakes his head. He paid for their foods from the food vendor. Maybe he is thinking too much. They look like two kids enjoying the Carnival. Not like lovers on first date.

V is a rich vampire King. He brings no money with him. RM grumbles when he checks his half empty wallet. A Vampire only carries a credit card when he ventures out in the night. No human would take such credit card. They only accept cash.

"It's so soft, sweet and creamy. Cold too. What's called again?" asks V.

"Ice cream. You got vanilla flavored. Mine is strawberry," explains Claire.

"Not fair. Humans got so much delicacies. I have to bring some home for the others."

RM shakes his head.

He mocks, " Don't even think about it. My money almost drained out."

V lowers his head and he bites Claire's ice cream.

"Hey! It's mine!" protests her.

V offers his ice cream to her. She bites it too. He smiles when she got white mustache around her mouth. He wipes it with a thumb and then he licks it.

"Never waste food," comments him.

Claire blushes when she looks another way. RM squints his eyes. It's good he becomes third wheel tonight. Something is definitely going on here.

RM grabs V's collar and he orders, "We need to talk."

Some men dressed in black quickly approach them.

V shakes his head and then he orders, "Back off. I could handle him."

He pushes RM back from him. The humans are staring them right now.

V stares down to his ice cream. It has fallen to the ground. Claire offers her ice cream to him. He smiles when he accepts it. RM groans in his heart. His sister never treats his Beta like this.

V licks his strawberry ice cream. It's a bit sour. He loves vanilla flavor much better.

RM says, "We need to talk."

V points to a nearby playground. Then he walks ahead to that place. The others follow behind him.

RM stands close to V. Claire is staring to the doll performance not too far from the playground.

The Alpha asks, "What are you doing? Are you flirting her?"

"What do you mean?" asks V.

"Stop what are you doing right now. Don't break her heart. Claire might look tough. She's still delicate at heart."

"She's tougher than you would ever be. She's the one whom tried to kill me. Not you."

Both men are staring her. Claire turns around and smiles to them.

"Don't ever break her heart. Or I will kill you personally. Tied you to a post and let the sunlight toasted you."

"Sadistic guy. Does your mate know it?" mocks V.

RM sits on a swing. He loves it since he's a wee high. Suddenly there is a bright flash directed to him.

"Hey! What are you doing?" protests him.

His eyes are hazy for a while.

V shows his mini device to him. There is a picture of him in the device.
