31. I can't loose you

"I hate to part with you," whispers V.

Claire smiles when she kisses his cheek.

She whispers, "I'll see you tomorrow."

V grabs her hand and kisses her lips. It's only a peck but it makes her face flushed.

"Dream about me tonight," whispers him.

It's late and they have to spend a night in this human village. Tomorrow they would depart for Soleil.

Claire is holding her chest. Her heart is fluttering. Can't believe she would marry him. The one she has wanted to kill.

She couldn't stop smiling. She must be smiling like a dork. She doesn't even care.

A man appears behind her after V leaves the spot.

J-HOPE asks, "You chose him over me? One ruthless King? A cold blooded vampire?"

"He isn't like that at all. He is sweet, a bit childish. It's fun being with him."

"You mean I'm boring?"

Claire sighs.

She confesses, "You are a good friend to me. That's all. Just a friend. Please stop wanting more from me."

Another man hits her head from behind. She collapses instantly.

He warns, "Stop wasting time. We must leave before someone finds out about us."

J-HOPE is going to carry her.

Suddenly he hears, "What happened to Claire?"

J-HOPE turns around and he punches Jungkook few times until he got knocked out.

He lifts her and heads to a car. His friend has taken another woman with him. The mission is successful. Nobody chases them when they leave the village.

Jungkook shakes his head. His mind is hazy. Something important has happened.

A scream breaks the silence of the night.

Everyone rushes out of the village Inn.

Jin is the first one arrives. He wears his classy sleeping hat. His pajamas looks elegant fits for a Prince. RM is shirtless, only wears his boxers. V is fully dressed. For a vampire, the night is still young.

RM asks, "Did you have a nightmare?"

"You fell of stairs?" asks Jin.

V examines his bruises. It looks like he has been beaten up.

Jungkook kept saying, "I'm sorry... so, so... sorry..."

V asks, "Why?"

"They took Claire. And someone else..."

"Who?" asks V.

His pupils turn red instantly. V is in his vampire fighting mode. Full blood lust. Wrong answer could get Jungkook killed.

RM pushes him backwards from Jungkook. He doesn't want him to get hurt.

He asks, "Who took her?"

Suddenly someone asks, "What's going on here? Why everyone is here?"

It's Suga. Irene is tailing behind him.

Jungkook stutters, "I couldn't stop...him..."

"Who?" asks V when he grabs Jungkook's collar and shakes him.

"J-HOPE and another guy."

RM curses. He quickly mind links his mate, Jennie. She is still in the Inn.
