21. Blown

"You fine?" asks Suga.

Alice lifts her head a bit from her pillow. Even the slightest movement still makes her head dizzy.

"You drank too much, you jerk," complaints her.

Suga rubs his head before he says, "Sorry."

He has sneaked into the Lady bedroom when the others are out. Irene is sitting next to Alice. She is staring them with curiosity written all over her face.

Suga apologizes again, "Sorry."

Someone is heading to this room. He could hear footsteps outside the door.

Suga jumps out of the window again. Just in time.

Jin has returned with a food tray in his hands. He sits next to her bed. He takes a spoonful of soup and blows it a little.

He orders, "Open up."

"Jin, I'm no baby," protests her.

"Just humor me."

She eats the soup and then screams, "Hot! Too hot!"

"You really got a cat tongue," teases him.

He blows the soup much longer before he feeds her again.

Irene stands up and then leaves the room. She holds her chest. If her heart is still beating, would she feel the broken heart? The feeling of her heart shattered apart. Seeing the man she loves acting romantically to another woman.

"This is Karma. Sorry, Suga," whispers her.

She has hurt him many times in the past. Never know each rejection sliced through his heart like a scythe.

Irene walks away. Suga stares the humans before he leaves too.

Jungkook is sitting in front of the Inn when he hears, "Boo!"

He jumps up out of fright.

Suga is laughing heartily.

"Not funny! You scared me to death!" protests Jungkook.

Suga asks, "What are you doing here?"

"Thinking. RM and the wolves are planning something. They won't tell me..."

Suga's smile fades away.

He asks, "Could they be planning another attack to Soleil?"

"Soleil? RM would never do that!"

"Wolves have been attacking it forever. We killed them everytime."

Jungkook is silent. He looks sad.

Suga caresses his head.

"Don't keep your hope too high. The war has been going forever. It won't stop so easily," says him.

"Hyung, I never felt so powerless in my life. Everything I tried to accomplish...failed. It's like trying to hold sand in my hand. It just kept falling."

Suga says seriously, "Add water and cement to the sand. Then you have solid mixtures."

Jungkook smiles weakly to the lame joke.

He says, "It's easy to keep holding grudges. Harder to forgive."

"Sometimes you just said weirdest things."

"I learned from RM and you."

Suga says nothing. He just stares ahead of them. Into total darkness. Something is going on in front of them.
