Stupid War (BTS Story)

4. All is lost

They are almost there. Just have to pass this hill. Sunset is drawing near. RM hopes they would arrive at home before sunset arrives. He hates to ask his friends to carry him again.

Every sunset, he would loose all his strength. It'll take half an hour before he could move a muscle.

Foresta is burning!

Blazing fire is burning everything they have built for years. Reducing all to ashes. Blood, sweat and tears spent to built their home. All is lost.

Jin, V and RM are running downhill toward the only home they have known.

Kai says to Jimin, "Bro. Maybe we are cursed. We always lost our homes."

Jimin is quiet. He only stares to the burning flames.

"Ms. Genevieve!" calls Jin.

Their leader has been wounded severely. She is protecting Aimee behind her. Monsters kept swarming in from various directions.

Genevieve pushes Aimee toward Jin.

She orders, "Take her and leave!"

"No! I won't leave you!"

"Look at me, Jin! Don't let her die here too..."

Genevieve has a mortal wound. It's impossible for her to live.

Jin grabs Aimee and he says, "Forgive me..."

"No! Mom! Mom!"

Jin forces Aimee away from that spot.

Genevieve tightens her grips on her twin blades.

"Who wants to join my little trip to Hell?" asks her.

She kept killing the monsters around her.

Jin couldn't look back. He just kept slashing monsters that block their escape route.

Shacks are burning around them. They are made from woods and hay. Nothing could stop them burning to ashes.

Suddenly there is loud crackling noise before the whole tower collapses on them.

Save her! I must save her!

That's all in his mind before Jin uses his body to shield Aimee.

"Found them!" yells V.

RM lifts up the charred logs from them. It's already mid morning. The fire burned all night long. They have to wait until the fire died out before they could search for any survivor.

Nothing remains but charred dead bodies. RM has actually given up to find his friend alive.

V doesn't give up the search. The human radar manages to find Jin's location.

A pink bubble is shielding them from harm. Both Aimee and Jin aren't moving at all.

RM tries to go near them but the bubble pushes him away. He tries to poke it. He tries to smash it. Even his hardest punch couldn't destroy it.

"Jin, what's this? You are even stronger than me," protests him.

V calls, "You are saved. No need for the bubble anymore."

Finally the bubble popped. Not a single trace of it anymore. RM kneels down to check their conditions. They are alive, unharmed although the fire has burned them all night long.

Both Jin and Aimee are unconscious. The bubble protects them even when he has fainted.
