Giselle's point of view

"YOU HAD A BAD DAY, YOU'RE TAKING ONE DOWN.. YOU SING A SAD SONG JUST TO TURN IT AROUND!"

I press my lips into a thin line as my brother sings very loudly in the middle of my living-room. I kick my work shoes off with a sigh before sitting on the ground next to him. He whines as I take the beer bottle away from him, secretly stealing a swig before placing it on the table.

Me: What's your issue?
San: You remember the girl I liked?
Me: You like a lot of girls.
San: The one from my college!
Me: Lina?
San: Cina, her name is Cina.
Me: Well excuse me, what about her?

He sighs.

San: She's with her boyfriends.
Me: Boyfriends?
San: As in plural yes.

Oh.

Oh, wow.

Me: You win some you lose some kid.
San: I'm Choi San, I don't lose.
Me: Well you lost her.

He glares at me.

Me: Too soon?

He nods.

It's not often he finds a girl he's interested in so when he does I know he's forreal the last girl he was with, Saelee, had him so confused mainly because he was in love and didn't understand how to act out those emotion. So he did what he always does, self sabotage.

One thing we have in common.

Ah yes, we're idiots.

San: When's the last time you spoke to Woo?
Me: Why would I speak to Woo?

He deadpans before flicking my forehead.

San: I'm not dumb, you two had something going on once upon a time.
Me: Sex. Nothing more, nothing less.
San: You're a bad liar.

I shake my head.

Me: I'm not lying.
San: If you say so.

San's point of view

Wooyoung waves his hand in front of my face making me snap out of my trance.

Me: First her brother steals Saelee and now Saelee's brother steals Cina.
Wooyoung: In reality you were never going to have Cina anyways.
Me: But I spent..-
Wooyoung: A thousand dollars on pussy you never got, I know, I know.

He chuckles as I pout.

Wooyoung: Wanna' hit the bar tonight?
Me: Sounds like fun, except I have to start research on this project.
Wooyoung: You? Actually starting work early? I'm amazed.
Me: I wouldn't of my partner wasn't such a dictator.
Wooyoung: Partner?

"CHOI SAN!"

Santana walks over with an annoyed expression and I smile.

Me: Sannie, looking pretty as ever.
Santana: Save it ass-muncher.
Me: Ass-muncher? Never, but for you my darling..-

She slaps the end of my baseball cap making it cover my eyes.

Santana: You do the research, I do the typing and the building of the model. That's it that's all, okay?
Me: But when do we get to the part where we get some alone time?
Santana: You're impossible.

She walks away as I wink.

Wooyoung: Dude she hates you.
Me: I like a chase.
Wooyoung: Doesn't she have like seven boyfriends already?
Me: Exactly, what's the harm in one more? Eight makes one team.

I know I said I was going to start research for Santana and I's project tonight but the club was more tempting. Ever since Mingi started dating Yunho it's been almost impossible to get him to come out and party with us anymore, so when he does we go hard.

Wooyoung: How is Yunho these days?
Mingi: Pretty good, a little stressed. It's senior year and he really wants to make the deans list one last time.
Me: What an overachiever, send him my best wishes.

He laughs.

Mingi: How's Giselle?
Me: Oh you know, she's Giselle.
Mingi: Still not talking to your mom?

I shake my head, their relationship has always been complicated. I chug the rest of my vodka and sigh, the burning sensation going down my throat has become a bestfriend of mine.

A hand rubs my shoulder and I glance around, oh God not her again. Tiffany does what I can only imagine to be in her head a 'seductive' smile.

She looks insane.

Don't get me wrong the sex was good but it was only an one time thing, she was way too clingy. Not to mention her father's business went bankrupt, and her mother is in deep shit with the law for fraud.

Homegirl is broke so she's trying to get in where she fit in, hide your wallets folks.

Me: Tiff, how are you?
Tiffany: I'm doing good, glad I ran into you though.
Me: Why's that?

She whispers dirty things in my ear that doesn't get me going in the slightest. A sigh leaves my lips as I smile softly at the girl.

I kind of feel bad for her, kind of.

Me: That all sounds wonderful.

It certainly does not.

Me: But I cant tonight.
Tiffany: Why not?
Me: Because I'm busy.
Tiffany: Doing what?

Why the hell is she trying to play twenty-one questions right now?

Me: Things.
Tiffany: What things?

I blink, how on earth did Seonghwa deal with this? I rub my temples as I slowly lose patience.

Me: Another time okay?

She scoffs as she marches away.

Mingi: Is it true she can't afford to go back to school in Japan?
Wooyoung: Yep, it's sad.
Me: It is, but also humbling.

Before my dad became wealthy and successful he was just like any young entrepreneur, just looking for a chance. He thought Bong Lee, Tiffany's dad, who was disgustingly rich at the time could help him. But of course her dad was an asshole who was beyond full of himself. He spit on my dad's idea, like literally spit on his blueprints and notebooks.

But now look, my dad is doing amazing while her family is, well..

See when you do clownery, the clown comes back to bite.
