San's point of view
I decided to leave the party early. I can't deal with my mom's conniving ways right now nor can I deal with Giselle not listening to me and just drowning my words out with liquor.
The food at those events are always gross and too fancy to be edible. There's a diner that's open twenty-four seven so I decide to go there. The place is completely empty minus the few workers lounging around.
I take a seat at a booth and a young boy brings me my menu right away. A few tables over is a boy I recognize to be Cina's brother. We make eye contact and he sends me a glare, well then.
I give the waiter my order and he bows politely before going to the back. I wave Jongho over and I can see him having an inner battle with himself. He sits across from me and I smile.
Me: You and I have never had a conversation face to face before. Last time I tried your sister nearly strangled me.
He hums.
Honestly I don't know what to say to him. I just want to clear the air because I don't want him hating me over nothing. Should I care about what he feels? No, I hardly know the kid but for some reason I do care.
Me: I haven't talked to Saelee in a while.
Jongho: Join the club.
Me: You two broke up?
Jongho: No, we live together. I just don't talk to her. Every conversations ends in an argument about you.Well shit.
Me: I'm sorry. I've ruined my fair share of relationships but I ruined this one unintentionally.
Jongho: I can't stand the sight of you.I've heard that before.
Jongho: But I can't be angry at you. I don't like the way you broke her heart but it is what it is. Now she can't seem to let go and it's breaking mine.
When I look at him I see someone soft and caring, the complete opposite of me. He deserves the Saelee I had, not the one I made.
Me: Jongho, I think you should let go of her. Find someone who will treat you how you rest them, love you how you love them and all that other corny mess.
He chuckles.
Me: Your sister has three people who would throw their life on the line for her. You're a lot like her so I know someone would do the same for you.
Jongho: Three people?I smile sadly.
Me: Once upon of time I would've, and still would.
Jongho: Hm, and to think this whole time I thought you were a selfish, womanizing, whore of an asshole. My eyes widen, damn, tell me how you really feel.
Jongho: You're just misunderstood and don't know how to channel your emotions.
Me: You got all that from one conversation?
Jongho: Am I wrong?
Me: Shut up.He laughs and I pass him a menu.
Me: You've been working a while huh? You must be hungry, order something and I'll pay.
He nods his head.

Santana's point of view
I ignore the boy as he continues to call my name. Yukhei catches up to me and tugs my arm so I can face him.
Lucas: Are you going to pretend you don't know me forever?
Me: I've been doing it the last four years here and I plan on continuing to.I go to walk away and he stops me again.
Lucas: Come on San.
Me: What do you want?
Lucas: To know how you've been? Catch up with an old friend, I haven't seen you since we were sixteen. One day you just dropped from the face of the planet.I shake my head.
Lucas: How's your parents?
It's been years but still whenever anyone asks I get that cold chill up my spine.
Me: They died.
Lucas: I'm so sorry! When did this happen?
Me: A few weeks after the last time you and I see each other. His eyes widen.
Lucas: Why the hell didn't you tell me? I could've been there for you, that's a horrible thing to go through alone.
Me: You weren't the lovey dovey type at that time in our lives.
Lucas: I was sixteen Santana.True.
Me: It is what it is okay. I'm doing better and you seem to be doing better as well, that's all that matters.
Lucas: That's true but we were bestfriends before we dated. I miss having you as my friend.I smile.
Me: So you're a little huh?
He blushes.
