San's point of view
Giselle and I watch as my mom paces back and forth with a cup of whiskey in her hand.
Mom: Two! She's dating two very rich heirs!
She scoffs.
Mom: Polygamy? Kids this days I swear.
She glances at Giselle. I can practically see the wheels turning in my mother's head, that smile alone tells me she's up to no good.
Mom: But surely that girl can't love both those boys, she has to love one more than the other. Who's to say she really loves them? Maybe it's a money thing.
My eyebrows furrow.
Me: I've seen them together, trust me she loves them.
She waves her hand dismissively.
Mom: Giselle, my daughter..
She never says that. This cannot be good.

Raven's point of view
Angel being Angel decided to drag me out my bed to go grab food. We thank the waiter as he sits our meal on the table.
Angel: So YangYang..
Oh here we go.
Angel and YangYang have a relationship similar to me and San. But Angel did what you're not suppose to do, catch feelings. She's so far gone one time she pretended to be in distress for his attention, did it work? No. He told her if she's in that much pain go to the hospital and then hung up.
Angel: He's been ignoring me for three days now.
Me: You know you're one of my closest friends so I'm going to be honest because I care, fuck him.She frowns.
Me: It's clear that you want what he doesn't. So just move on and find someone that's willing to treat you how you deserve to be treated.
Angel: Like who?A bunch of dishes fall off the table next to us making the bus boy frown. He pushes his black hair out his face before sighing.
Me: Do you need help?
He gives me a small smile before shaking his head.
Boy: No thanks.
I squint to read his name tag, Jongho.

Giselle's point of viewI blink.
San: What?
Mom: You heard me, your sister will work on stealing one of them away.
San: Do you know how insane that sounds?
Mom: I've done it before, it's not impossible.I literally have no idea why my dad is with someone so money hungry and evil. This woman will do anything to be on 'top', it's disgusting.
Me: I'm not going to steal her boyfriend.
Mom: Why not?
Me: It's not right.
Mom: Aren't you tired of unrequited love my daughter? Aren't you tired of living where you do now? Working shifts at that dump you call a job? When are you going to start living the life you were born to live? What confuses me the most is that my father has an abundance of wealth. I do have that so called life but because my mom has whatever vendetta against me I'm not entitled to it. That's why whenever San tries to help me I don't accept it. He's a wonderful little brother but still very blind to how truly horrible this lady can be.
Me: I don't need any man to take care of me, I can do that on my own.
Mom: Can you? She's fucking with me, she's getting inside my head.
Mom: Is the reason you won't go after one of them because you secretly know you can't hold a candle to Cina?
I narrow my eyes.
Mom: A future doctor, gorgeous, and very promising. Then there's you, Choi Giselle. No education, a waitress, decent.
My blood begins to heat up.
Mom: The only thing you have going for you is your surname.
San: Mom.
Mom: No son, she needs to hear this. She smiles slyly.
Mom: You hate me because I tell you the truth. Your dad and brother might protect your feelings but I never will, you embarrass me and I'll let you know it every time I see you. You're comfortable with being a disappointment.
I stand to my feet and she tips her head to the side.
Me: I'm fine the way I am and anyone would be happy to have me no matter what you say!
Mom: Prove it.
Me: I will.__
San's point of view
I shake my head.
That smirk on my mom face let's me know that, she's won.
