Yesterday was tiring. Not really sure kung magka-away ba kami ni Den ngayon, but I know we did not end things well last night. I shrugged the feeling and just hoped that today will be better. I prepared to go to class na. I made sure to put the keys in my bag as well as the spare set to return to Deanna later.

As I was going through my bag, I found a couple of Gift Certificates ng Starbucks. I remembered it was given to me by a classmate last sem. I took a piece of paper and wrote "Dear Ms. 1209, I hope this can make up for the spilled coffee. Pinag-iipunan ko pa ung pangpalit ko sa shirt mo. ;) Have a great day! - Aly (Room 1210)"

I folded the paper and placed the GCs inside. As I went out, I taped it on the door. 

As I arrived in the campus, I went immediately to my class. I was a little early and decided to browse my phone. Thank you DilNet, libre wifi ako.

I messaged Den. "Good morning Love <3" 

I waited if magrereply siya. Pero seen zone lang. Baka busy lang, I thought. After all, she has a meeting nga pala.

"Aly! Aga mo ngayon ah!" Malakas na bati ni Ella. Kasama niya si Amy. Binati ko sila. Eventually, I told them what happened yesterday. Both about the spilled coffee and the keys.

"Besh, alam mo naman na matindi ang pressure ng family ni Den sa kanya. Intindihin mo na lang siya," paalala ni Amy.

"I know that. Im trying my best to understand. Minsan ang sakit lang din na lagi ako ang may kasalanan," I told them.

"Uuwi na naman siya diba? Kapag magkasama na kayo ulit, I know things will be better na. Balik #AlyDen na!" Sabi naman ni Ella.

I smiled and thanked silently that I have friends who I can confide to. Dumating na ang prof and started the class.

Mika

As I closed the door, I noticed that something is pasted on it. Hmmm. I took it and read it. "Aly pala," I thought to myself. Napangiti ako sa nakasulat. May pagka thoughful din naman pala siya. That girl is really intriguing. One time I saw her sprawled on the floor looking perplexed, the next moment nadale niya ang kape ngayon. Then on the elevator para siyang wala sa sarili. And now she is being sweet with this note.

I smiled again. And went on my way. Maybe I can be friends with her. She looks nice. 

Somehow, that note from her made me smile. Buong araw masaya ako. I want to know her more.

Aly

Natapos na rin ang classes for the day. I also went to Ateneo to meet with Deanna, ibabalik ko lang yung spare key ng condo. "I guess alam mo na ang nangyari?" ang bungad na bati ni Deanna sa akin habang nakangiti. I just smiled and opened my bag to get the keys. "Sorry ha, sinabi ko kay Mama. Napagalitan kasi ako e," patuloy pa niya.

"It's okay. Wala ka naman maling ginawa," I assured her. "ayun lang, napagalitan ako ni ate mo," sabi ko. "Pasensya na Ate Aly. She is really just stressed sa business," paalala niya.

After a while, umalis na rin ako. When I arrived sa condo, napansin ko na wala na ung note sa pintuan ni 1209. I smiled. Siguro kinuha na niya. Sana mabawasan yung inis niya sa akin. 

A few seconds din siguro ako nakatigil at nakatulala sa pinto ng 1209 nang biglang bumukas ito. Si Ms. 1209! Nagitla ako at dali daling binuksan ang bag ko para hanapin ang susi.

"Hi! Thank you for the GCs," bati ni Ms. 1209. I looked up and saw her smiling. "Hi, Ms. 1209! I mean, wala yun. Kulang pa nga yun for your shirt," I said. Natigilan ako. Nakatitig na pala ako sa kanya, sa ngiti niya.
