I looked at the wall clock in my room. "1:30," I read. I figured I would start walking to the café. It's been a week and work has gone well. Obi has been paying more attention to his own work a little more.
People didn't know that we were going on a date so we sorta had to leave like we were staying in the palace. I walked past the training grounds, seeing Obi's soldiers train.
Surprisingly, Obi knew how to use a sword. He said that they were inconvenient and that throwing knives and daggers were better.
"When you swing with your right hand you wanna swing all the way from the shoulde- Little Miss! What's up!" Shoot, he noticed me. "I was just... about to go deliver something for the medical staff."
He nodded and waved goodbye. Phew, that was close. I was eventually able to leave which the guards surprisingly let me do.
I went to the diner in which we were supposed to meet up in. Sitting at the table, I had realized that Zen was running a bit late.
He came rushing through the door and sat at the table. "I'm sorry I'm late, it's hard to get Mitsuhide and Kiki to stop following me."
I forgave him and we started our date...
