Chapter 24

'Morning' I smiled as Aston walked down the stairs yawning.

'Morning gorgeous' he yawned.

'You want some breakfast?' I asked as I poured milk onto my weetabix.

'Yeah, I'll get it, you go sit down' he said, moving me over to the sofa with his hands on my shoulders.

'Ast, I'm pregnant, not disabled' I giggled. 'I don't need help to sit down'

'Not yet maybe, but you will in a few months..' he grinned.

'What are you grinning at?' I asked confused.

'Just got a funny image of you trying to waddle over to the sofa and spilling milk all over yourself' he smirked.

'Oh, piss off and get your breakfast Merrygold' I huffed. He came back a while later with a bowl of shreddies. 

'You know you love me really' he grinned.

'Luckily for you, yes I do' I smiled. He kissed my cheek softly..

'Ew, Ast! I have a milky face now' I giggled.

'Let me get it off for you then' he said, leaning in towards my face. I felt something wet brush across my cheek.

'Did you just lick my face?' I asked.

'Maybe..'

'Your so silly sometimes' I giggled.

I drove Aston back to his apartment later that morning.

'Are you coming in for a coffee babe?' he asked before he got out of my car.

'No, but I need to go in and sort things out with Marvin before I go' I sighed.

'Okay' he smiled. We got out of the car, and walked in hand in hand.

'Marv?' Aston called as he closed the door behind us. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I looked up to see Marvin.

'Right, I'm gonna leave you two to it. See you later babe' Aston said, pecking my lips.

'See ya' I smiled, as he ran upstairs past Marvin. There was an awkward silence between me and Marvin..

'Babe, I'm sorry' he said, breaking the silence and walking downstairs to stand in front of me. 'I was only trying to protect you.. I know Aston wouldn't hurt you, you can see in his eyes how much he loves you, and how happy you make him.. I was just annoyed that he hurt you before.. That's all'

'I know' I smiled. 'Bestfriends?'

'Bestfriends' he grinned, hugging me tight.

'Right, I've gotta go to work. I'll see you later, yeah?'

'Okay, say hi to Nikki if you see her'

'I will' I said, as Marvin kissed my cheek.

'Bye Ast!' I shouted up the stairs. I heard him shout something back, but I couldn't tell what.

'Bye babe. And once again, I'm sorry'

'It's okay! Bye Marv' I smiled, before heading out of their apartment and to my car.

Work was just a pretty average day for me. I managed to get three days off the following week; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Perfect. I couldn't wait to pick out a house to start my own little family.
