*NORMAL POV*
Today me and Aston were going down to Peterborough to see his family, so we could tell them about losing it. We hadn't even told them when I went into labour.. They didn't really expect anything, since the baby wasn't supposed to be due for another 2 months anyway. Aston had called her last night to tell her we were coming down. She was a little confused why we were visiting, as we were supposed to be in California right now, but Aston had made something up to settle her.
We'd just pulled off the motorway, and were heading into Peterborough.
'I really don't know how I'm gonna do this, Chloe' Aston panicked, a tear rolling down his left cheek.
'Don't worry, your gonna be fine' I smiled slightly, grabbing his hand and squeezing it.
'I don't know what I'm gonna say' he sniffed.
'Don't panic Ast, we're doing this TOGETHER.. We're gonna be okay' I reassured him. He breathed in and out deeply as we pulled up outside his parents' house. This was only the second time I'd been here..
'Ready?' I asked, looking him in the eyes. He nodded. I leaned up and kissed his lips softly, before pulling back and catching one of his tears with my finger. We both climbed out the car, linking our fingers together and making out way to the large black front door. I reached up and knocked on it, Aston squeezing my hand as I did so. After a few moments, Aston's mum swung the door open.
'Hello, you two!' she beamed, pulling me in tight for a hug, not giving Aston any attention just yet.
'Hi Siobhan' I squeaked. She was squeezing me pretty tight.
'Hi mum' Aston smiled faintly as she pulled away from me. She grabbed him and hugged him too.
'Come inside' she smiled, ushering us into the house.
Me and Aston were sat in the living room with his mum Siobhan, his dad Orjan, his sister Courtney and his brothers Conor, Kane, Antony, Reece and Callum.
'Here you go' Siobhan smiled as she handed Aston a mug of coffee, then me.
'Thanks' I said, taking it from her.
'You bump isn't very big to say your 7 months pregnant! Your gonna have a short arse like Aston' Kane laughed. I looked down at my bump, placing my hand over it. It had shrunk LOADS, but it was still there, as it was only a few days since we lost our little one.
'Wait.. Why is it so small? Is everything okay? Have you asked your midwife about it?' Siobhan panicked. I looked up at Aston, tears threatening to leak from my eyes. I could see Aston's eyes welling up too..
'That's the thing mum.. There is no baby' he sniffed, tears rolling down his cheeks, although his posture stayed strong.
'What do you mean?' she asked, confused, tears filling her eyes too. I guess she knew what was coming.
'We lost it' I said quietly, almost a whisper, tears now escaping from my eyes as well. Everyone's mouths dropped. Siobhan placed her shaky hand over her mouth.
'On Tuesday morning.. Chloe went into labour. The baby was too premature to survive' Aston sobbed. Siobhan rushed over to him, sitting down next to him and pulling him into her. As they sat crying together, Courtney came over to me.
'I'm so sorry' she croaked, pulling me up to hug her. I felt as if this was my family too.. They were all so nice to me, and Aston said they all loved me. After a while, Siobhan and Courtney swapped, so I was now hugging Siobhan and Aston was hugging Courtney. Everyone else was still sat there, staring into space.. I guess they hadn't quite taken it in.
After a few hours of crying, me and Aston decided to head off home. We'd been asked to stay for tea, but we kindly declined. I wasn't really in the mood for food. Once me and Aston got home, we went to bed pretty much straight away, with no dinner. All the crying had tired us out.
'I dreading telling my mum' I sighed as I snuggled into Aston's bare chest.
'Oh, I was meaning to tell you.. Marvin told her'
'What?' I asked, shooting my head up.
'He said she knew something was wrong, and didn't believe the excuse he'd used as to why we cancelled our flight, so he told her.. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner baby, but I only found out this morning, and you were still sleeping.. I forgot about it' he explained.
'It's okay. How did she take it? Did he say anything to you?'
'No.. He didn't mention it'
'Okay.. Night night Ast'
'Night night babygirl, sweet dreams' Aston whispered, kissing the top of my head. I soon drifted off to sleep in the arms of my perfect boyfriend.
