I woke up for the third time in the night with stomach pains. Ever since Jackson's party last week, they'd been getting worse and worse. I glanced at the clock; 02:44. We were flying out to California today for my brother's wedding. I was so excited for it, but I would have preferred to be bumpless for it.

As I tossed and turned, I must have disturbed Aston.

'Baby? Are you awake?' he groaned sleepily from beside me.

'Yeah' I sighed.

'Come here' he yawned, pulling me closer to him. He laid behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his warm soft hans on my bump and brushing his fingers against it gently.

'Go to sleep' he whispered in my ear, before kissing my left shoulder. I closed my eyes and tried my best to sleep, but it was no use. I was in too much pain to sleep.

'I'm going to get a drink' I said quietly.

'Okay' he mumbled.

I tiptoed down the stairs to the kitchen to get myself a glass of water. I stood in the dark looking out the window at the garden. I could just see me and Aston sat there one summer as old people, happily married with grandchildren running around playing.. That would be magical.

Just before I finished my drink, another wave of pain shot through my stomach. This pain was worse and much longer than all the others I'd experienced. The glass slipped out of my hand and smashed on the floor as I clenched my stomach, screaming in pain. Within seconds, the hallway light upstairs flicked on and footsteps thudded down the stairs.

'Chloe, what happened?!' Aston panicked as he got into the kitchen, flicking on the light, making us both squint as our eyes adjusted.

'No' I cried, squeezing my stomach tighter. He came over to me and placed his left arm around my waist, then grabbed my right hand and threw it around his neck, taking my hand in his right one.

'Come on, lets get you in the other room' he said, helping me waddle across the kitchen, avoiding the broken glass.

'Wait' I said, stopping in the middle of the kitchen.

'What?' he asked. All of a sudden, another mighty rush if pain shot through me. As it quickly faded, I felt a rush of liquid pour down my legs and splash onto my feet, leaving a puddle on the floor.

'Hold on a second.. Is that..' Aston wondered aloud.

'I think me waters just broke' I said quietly.

'Oh my god.. Wait down here, I'll go get you some clothes so we can get going to the hospital' he said, rushing his speech so much I could only just make out what he said. When he returned, he was armed with a pile of mine and his clothes. He must have pulled out things in a rush since none of the things he'd picked matched. I started to get dressed, slowly because I was in pain. Aston was dressed in a matter of seconds, so he helped me get dressed too.

After helping me into the car, we rushed off to the hospital, me screaming all the way there. The contractions were so long and close together.. I guess this baby wasn't waiting around. It was coming fast.
