"Bones, meet me in the brig, " Jim said to McCoy through his comm.  He closed the device and turned to Uhura. "Lieutenant,  contact Starfleet and let them know we have Harrison in custody. We'll be on our way once our warp engines are repaired. "

"Yes,  sir, " Uhura  said, and walked away.

Bones and Jim walked into the brig,  where Serenity was talking to Spock. Selene had found her mother and followed her to the brig,  and she was now looking at Harrison.

"Why the hell did he surrender? " Bones asked his best friend.

"I don't know,  but he just took out a squad of Klingons nearly single handedly,  with the exception of my sister, Serenity, " Jim explained.

"Looks like we have two superhumans on board." Bones said.

"I'm sorry, two?" Khan asked curious.

"Yep. Well,  Serenity tops you in the powers department, " Bones responded, taking his blood.

"More like two and a half, if you count my niece Selene."Jim added.

"Please don't speak of my daughter in front of this… man, " Serenity pleaded.

"Mommy, Daddy, I'm scared. The bad man keeps looking at me." Selene hid behind her parents. Spock and Serenity moved to protect her.

"You have a daughter. She's beautiful, " Khan whispered. "Just like her mother." Now Spock understood how Serenity felt about Lieutenant Marcus. He felt rage building even more from this killer for flirting with his wife.

"Serenity, please take Selene and go to our quarters, " Spock requested. He touched their fingertips into a vulcan kiss, and he watched his wife and child walk back to safety.

"Why aren't we moving, Captain? An unexpected malfunction,  perhaps in your warp core.  It could leave you stranded in the edge of Klingon space, " Harrison said calmly.

"How the hell did you know that?" Bones asked, suspicious.

"Bones- " Jim started.

"I think you'll find my insight valuable,  Captain, " Their prisoner stated. Bones finished taking John's blood.

"Let me know what you find, " Jim told Bones. McCoy nodded,  and headed up to Med Bay. Jim and Spock started to walk away.

"Ignore me and you will get everyone on this ship killed," Harrison warned. The two men stopped. Spock turned to Jim.

"Captain,  I believe he will only attempt to manipulate you." He spoke to his brother-in-law. "I would not recommend engaging with the prisoner,  any further."

"Give me one moment,  Spock, " Jim whispered back.

"Let me explain what is happening here. You are a criminal.  I watched you murder innocent men and women. I was authorized to end you. And the only reason why you're still alive is because I'm allowing it. So Shut. Your. Mouth! " Jim spat.

"Captain,  are you going to punch me again over and over untill your arms weaken?  Clearly you want to so tell me,  why do you allow me to live? " John asked.

"We all make mistakes, " Jim stated.

"Hmmm. I surrendered to you because despite your attempts to convince me otherwise,  you still have a conscious, Mr. Kirk. If you did not then it would be impossible for me to convince you of the truth. 23-17-46-11.Co-ordinates not far from Earth. If you want to know why I did what I did, I suggest you take a look." John told him.

"Give me one good reason why I should listen to you," Jim asked.

"I can give you 72, and their aboard your ship, Captain. They have been, all along. I suggest you open one up. "
