Crown Royal 300

We kick off the third season of CRTS competition at the Daytona International Speedway for the Crown Royal 300, the biggest race of the season!

Brady Burkhart put his #99 SBR truck on pole with his teammate Ryan Butcher starting 2nd in the #00. Starting P3 is another SBR truck as Alex Benyacko went on to win duel 1 to start 3rd. 4th is Matty Porta moving from MSA to Sauber Racing Team. P5 is Maxwell Fey for BGM as starting P6 is Riley Spurlytube in his return to full-time competition after his scary crash during testing at Indy in S4 for TSR. Starting 7th is Peter Onjack, last season he suffered a concussion after a wild ride flipping wildly down the infield grass. Starting P8 is Matthew Brown with the first entry of GMC with Smart Motorsports. Starting 9th is the TSR team owner Jay Jefferson. Rounding out the top 10 is the #25 of Carson Bauers for OnjAuto.

Brady Burkhart leads the field to the green flag! Brady and Butcher run side by side through 1 & 2! Maxwell Fey forces 3 wide for P3 as Brady noses ahead of Butcher! Out of the trioval, Porta nails the outside wall stacking up the 3rd lane. Into turn 1, Maxwell Fey makes a 3 wide move to try and take the lead. Fey clears out of turn 2. Into turn 3, Fey tries the elevator move, but JJ sends it down the inside but doesn't make the move stick as Fey gets a huge run out of 4. Into turn 3, Sebastian Cucalon makes a massive save as he slides to the apron, but gets back on track. On lap 6, Logan Cloud makes a peek to the inside of Fey to try and take the lead off of 4. Fey still leads lap 6, but Cloud is still there into turn 1. Cloud and Fey run side by side through 1 & 2 and still down the back straight. (Brandon with his shitty style of camera moves away from the battle of the lead cause why not.) I believe on lap 7 Cloud sticks the move out of 4 on Fey and will lead lap 7. On lap 15 out of 2, Alex Peters looks to the inside of Cloud as we go to commercial break. 

Back from break on lap 18, Brady Burkhart takes the lead over from Alex Peters. Into turn 3, Cloud makes a peak to the inside of Brady and will clear off of turn 4. On lap 19, Brady peaks to the inside and clears Logan. On lap 23, Alex Peters peeks to the inside of Brady into turn 3 trying to take the lead back. Cloud makes a move on lap 28 for the lead on Peters.

After the 2nd commercial break, Alex Peters takes the lead back on lap 32. On lap 37, the trucks run high and around the outside of the slow truck of Zachary Fitzwater Sr. Fitzy slows the field up enough so the Zachary Racing can remain 1-2. As you can tell, Peters has led a lot. Into turn 3, Fey and DiLello force 3 wide for the race lead! Off of 4 DiLello goes from last to first with 6 laps left! Fey into 3 makes the move for the lead with Allison as a drafting partner! On lap 47, into turn 3, DiLello tries to make the move on Fey and clears! 3 laps to go for Zachary DiLello! Out of turn 4, Zachary DiLello will win the Crown Royal  300! From 42nd on the grid to the race win! Anderson Reed got dumped down the back, but no replay was shown
