After a chaotic Valvoline 200, we head to the iconic 2nd race of the season at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The 48 and 14 proved to be almost unstoppable at Daytona, will that continue into this coming week?
Starting on pole again is Colton Layne in the #14 for MSA. On his outside once again is Alex Fletcher in the #48 for TSR. Starting P3 is the #98 of SWJ for CFRO. Starting P4 is Antonie Smith for Evernham. P5 is Rodger Rey in the #40 for OnjAuto. P6 is Cody Smart in the #53 of Zachary Racing. P7 is Larry Hagen in the #28 for TSR. P8 is Matthew Brown in the #01 for BGM. P9 is Jacob Rose in the #45 for RER. P10 is Luke Rainey in the #82 for TRD.
Layne leads the field to green here in Vegas! Layne leads lap 1 as SWJ takes P2. Into 3, Rey peaks to the bottom and leads lap 2. Into turn 3 on lap 4, Fletcher takes the lead! yawn On lap 16, Layne makes a move and takes the lead! On lap 25, Fletcher peeks to the inside! Fletcher takes the lead! On lap 27, Layne peeks, but Fletcher squeezes Layne and maintains the lead! Rodger Rey to the inside of the 48! Rey takes the lead! Layne down the inside on lap 29 and gets squeezed again! On lap 33, Fletcher into 1 will take the lead! Rey pulls the switchback and leads the lap again! SWJ squeezed by Layne! Fletcher crossed over, but Rey leads still. On lap 35, Fletcher takes the lead! Layne on the final lap peeks low! He gets the run to the line! Colton Layne will win at Vegas!
