BB&T 300

We head to South Boston for the fifth race of the CRTS season!

On pole today is Dusty Neel with DJ Kurtis on his outside. Row 2 consists of Tib Foster and Logan Bradley. Row 3 is Maxwell Fey and Austin Murray. Row 4 is Gatlin Downey and DJ Gibson. Rounding out the top 10 is Alex Peters and Peter Onjack.

Dusty Neel leads the field to the green! Out of 2 Neel will clear Kurtis! Neel will lead lap 1! Off of 2 Tib will go under his own driver for the race lead! Tib leads lap 3! Off of 2 WEC clears. On lap 13 Maxwell Fey is around! Mark Sylas piles into the 16 truck! Eaves turned Vargas around into the paceline as a massive stack up takes place! Head and Yepez slide up the track! Tib on lap 14 leads the field onto pit road. Matty Porta, Matthew Eaves, and Carter Friesen all stay out. Tib is the first truck off pit road followed by Neel, JJ, Murray, and Peters is the top 5! The yellow comes out when Spurly dumps the 16 truck out of 2 causing a massive stack up.

On lap 19 the Italian Stallion Matty Porta leads the field to the green flag! Into 3 on lap 20 Friesen tries to make a move for the lead! Porta leads lap 20, but Friesen clears off of 2! On lap 31 Carson Bauers worked his way up on fresh tires and passed Carter Friesen! On lap 43 a caution flies! Zachary DiLello is stopped! Brady Burkhart in another crash today! Under caution, Friesen comes down pit road. The caution comes out when Zachary DiLello entering turn 1 has a tire go down and nails the wall, he rides along the wall hitting the opening at the exit of turn 2. He makes contact with Brady Burkhart spinning down the track. 

On lap 50 Bauers leads the field to the green! Into turn 3 on lap 51 Austin Murray moves into the race lead! On lap 76 the caution is out! Jose Perez blows up and turns down on Brady Burkhart! He gets nailed by Neel and Fey! Cloud drills Perez head on! JJ sends Sebi on a half spin but he saves it! 

On lap 82, Murray leads the field to the green! On lap 83, Alex Peters is moved up the track bringing the yellow out! He did slide awkwardly, but that should not have been a yellow

It will be a one-lap dash! Murray gets an amazing jump! Murray pulls away and will win at South Boston!
