Chapter 48 Confessions must be made

The next day started early fort Nat and her dad. They were on their way to pick up Norah at 7:30 in the morning.
"Nat, I know you're still hurt about our talk. Please believe me, even though it's hurting you that you have to break up with Jason, it's just for your well being.
We care a lot about you. Mom and I are aware that we made a lot of mistakes too. However, the most important thing is that we finally found Norah and move on with our lives.
Together as a family, we'll make it through all the trials," Logan cleared his throat.

Nat sighed, turned to her dad, and said, "I know dad, but still, I'm confused about it. Why can't you tell me the truth?
I know you want to protect me, but as I already told you yesterday, I'm not your little four-year-old girl anymore, who was crying when we buried my hamster Paulie in our garden.."

Logan closed his eyes for a moment as conflict raged inside his mind. He knew that if he were in Nat's shoes, he would want to know why too. On the other hand, Nathalie deserved the truth.
But on the other hand, he was concerned about the pain and despair she would ineviendly go through when she learned the truth about Jason's dad.
Conversely, she would understand the full content when he would tell her the truth.

"Dad? Please give me the chance to understand you and mom.
I love you guys so much, but I deserve the truth!" Nat's voice brought him back to reality.

"Alright, I give in. You're right. But I have to talk with mom about it first," Logan replied and hoped that he had made the right choice.

"See, it wasn't that hard right, dad?" Nat triumphantly beamed happily at her father and laid her head on her father's shoulders.

"And dad?" Nat asked after a few minutes had passed.

"Yeah, Dolly?" Logan smiled at her.

„When are you and mom going to tell Gracie and Jacob about Norah?" she asked.

„Well, Nathalie, it's not that easy. It'll be the next logical step to tell them,"

Logan sighed. „In a few hours, we're going to pick up Gracie, Jacob, grandma Shira, and grandpa Luke. It's going to be hard, but we have to tell them about Norah.
And maybe Norah will want to get to know her siblings, tonight or perhaps it would be better for tomorrow. We'll leave it up to her."

Then Logan muttered to himself, „We do have to fly back home in a few days because we should get in contact with the FBI to get the stone rolling."

Excieteldy Norah waited for fort the arrival of her twin sister the next day. She barely slept last night because she kept thinking about the movie night with her grandmother Lorelai and Nathalie.

Of course, Norah was aware that she was thinking and analyzing too much about the smallest details.

The last few days had been quite exhausting for her, and yet she couldn't imagine a life without her twin sister.
She would never have thought that she could build such a bond with her in less than twenty-four hours.

Yet, at the same time, there were a lot of sorrows and concerns too.
The young girl felt so conflicted towards her other family despite her adoptive family, encouraging her to get to know her real family.
Sophie especially pushed her in the right direction.

With a tired smile, she took a glance at her wristwatch, and a small smile appeared on her lips when she saw the black car, which was coming round the corner.
The closer the care came, the more the anticipation increased. She could hardly wait to spend an awesome day at the farm with her dad Logan and sister Nat.

And if she was honest with herself, she was glad that she had the chance to get to know her biological dad too. It still sounded weird to her to call him dad also.
She supposed she just needed time to get used to her new family.

The car stopped in front of Norah, and with a huge grin on her face, she got into the car.
„Good morning Schatzi! I'm so happy to see you again." Nat greeted her happily and hugged her for a short moment.

"Good morning to you too, Schatzi, yeah me too. Hi Logan.
I'm so glad that you're coming with us to the farm!" she greeted both them with a shy smile.

"Good morning, Hone...I mean, Norah. I'm really looking forward to it too. Nat told me a lot about your shopping mall trip and of course about your horse Bruce.
Your grandmother Lorelai has a few horses at her inn." Logan said nervously as he tried to get his act together.

He shouldn't be so nervous in front of Norah. He was the one who should be more confident towards her. She had to deal with a lot of things.

Andy et he admired Norah fort her strength, patience, and sensitivity towards him, Rory and Nathalie.

„Yeah, Lorelai told me about it. And of course, she told me a lot about Stars Hollow and their crazy people there. Particularly the stories about Kirk were so funny and quirky.
This guy must be one of a kind.." she smirked and couldn't wait to start an awesome day with Logan and Nathalie at the horse farm.
