Bella's POV

I was sore, sweaty and tired.

I also felt more alive than I've felt in my life.

Being with Rosalie was always amazing but actually being with Rosalie was. Fuck. It was incredible.

It made everything else seem so much less important. I no longer had the capacity for anger. I practically hate Edward now but I could barely even conjure his name up anymore. The fight from earlier had no meaning, not that anything was forgiven.

As stupid as it sounds, I felt more in tune with myself than before and after embarrassingly mentioning it to Rosalie, she explained that it was our bond. "Basically, it's good for both of us. The stronger our bond, the stronger and better we feel. I'm surprised you are so affected as a human. You are very passionate, though, so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised."

Rosalie had joined me in the shower after I woke up. It was a whole other experience. One that touched at every inch of my heart and was so intimate I actually almost cried. I've never felt so much love and devotion and care. It took a while, but eventually we got out and got dressed. She braided my hair intricately, and I brushed hers.

When Charlie got home, we curled under my blankets watching TV on the couch. Still mostly cuddled but not quite so romantically, Charlie comes in and startles. Surprised, he raises his brows at me before smiling and greeting Rose.

She half gets up to shake his hand, "Hi, I'm Rosalie Hale." She sits back down, hand landing close to my leg.

"Hi. Charlie. Nice to meet you." He greets.

"Dad," I interrupt. "Can she spend the night?"

"Uhm, sure. Did you guys eat? I can order a pizza." Charlie checks his watch, it was pretty late.

"Yeah, we ate. Sorry."

"No need. I'm gonna go make a sandwich. But, uh, let me know if you need anything." He walks over to press a kiss to my head and then around to the kitchen.

"So, are date is postponed?" Rosalie chuckles, face close to mine, whispering softly.

"I guess, unless this constituents a date. Movies at home? That counts, right?" We giggle and she carries me up my room, using her speed to get us there quicker. We spend the rest of the evening curled up, touching, kissing, sort of paying attention to the movies (but not that much attention).

Somewhere into the early morning hours, I drift off, glad for the weekend.

When I wake up, Rose isn't next to me and I can't help the disappointment that floods me. A note, though, is left behind explaining her absence was due to an impromptu hunt and she needed some new clothes.

By the time I am dressed and had breakfast, Charlie was already gone and Rosalie and Emmett have plowed through my front door.

"Bells!" Emmett shrieked, "My bestie! How are you? And not because of Edward, I'm asking because you finally did it with Rosie and you're actually in one piece!"

"Emmett," Rose and I shout, she smacks him and I blush. He isn't sorry.

"Alright, fine. But listen to this," He starts dramatically.  "Everyone at school thinks you're cheating with Bella and it's so fucking funny because it's turned Bells into a total bad ass. Also when we got home, Esme almost kicked Edward's ass! She and Carlisle completely destroyed him, and Edward looked like he was gonna cry. Carlisle had to stop all of us, at least once, from ripping a limb off of him!"

Rosalie was smirking, satisfied and I mean, I laughed too but I also felt a little bad because it is kind of my fault. But knowing the reaction I'd get, I stay silent.
