   Bella's POV

The whole drive over I wanted to say something and I should have. But now I'm here and I guess there's no going back. I mean, I could ask them to take me home and I'm sure they would. It's all really strange but I should be safe- they wouldn't do anything to the sheriff's daughter.

I'm an idiot, really.

Their house is really gorgeous, I thought as I thanked Emmett for opening my door.  He, suspiciously, left me to deal with Alice. I'd rather take my chances with bulky Emmett, honestly.

Her feet barely touched the ground as she dragged me into the house with a surprisingly strong grip. Just like the outside it was beautiful. Upon entering we were greeted by a small brunette with a warm smile. "Hello, I'm Esme. The children's mother." her tone was soft and sweet. She took a step forward and wrapped me in a hug. I couldn't help but notice that all three Cullen's that I have met are overly kind which is disconcerting. Just like their gold eyes. I thought these two were adopted? I didn't think many people had gold eyes.

"I'm Bella." I smiled when she let me go. "You have a lovely home, it's so bright and open."

"Thank you dear. Now, have you eaten? Can I get you a drink?" she offered as the three of us walked into the living room.

"Oh, no thank you."

"Just let me know." Esme offered one more smile before disappearing behind a door. I turn to face the room and notice Emmett and two beautiful blondes.

"Bells, this is Jasper and Rosalie. Edward is still out and Carlisle is still at work." Emmett gets up and shoves me on the couch opposite the twins. Alice follows and sits next to me.

"Hello." I offer a wave. The boy looks at me and gives a small smile and nod. I couldn't help but admire his beautiful golden, curly hair. Along with his sister.  She is easily the most gorgeous person I've ever seen and probably will see. She looks at me with a blank expression before looking away and listening in on what Emmett was joking about. When she looks at him her expression breaks and a  smile brightens her face.

Looking away, I listen too.

"So shortie, do you like the rain?" after Emmett asked that all of their eyes were on me, making me uncomfortable.

"I suppose." I made awkward eye contact with Jasper, his stare intense. All of a sudden I felt calmer and more relaxed, which made it hard for me to think about how they are all really intense, strange people.

"Oh! We are totally going shopping Friday, Bella. Rose, you and me."

I looked to Rosalie to see what she was thinking. She just looked at me blankly again before nodding to Alice. "Uh, maybe, yeah." I mutter, not feeling like I have a choice.

"I saw this really cute skirt last weekend and I think it'd really suit you." Alice started talking and talking and didn't seem to notice that I stopped hearing her once she said skirt. About the same time Jasper gave me a tight, polite smile before looking at Alice.

"Darlin', slow down. You're making her uncomfortable." Jasper says quietly, his voice soft and slightly accented. Southern, maybe. Alice stops short before giggling sheepishly and apologizing. Jasper presses a kiss to her temple before leaving.

My eyes wondered over the room as Alice starts talking again. I look at the pictures on the walls. There are none of them when they were little. All of the pictures look recent. Maybe because they're adopted ?

I look over at Rosalie and Emmett. Emmett is having a conversation with Alice. Emmett had his arm around Rosalie and she leans in to him, as she listens.

Her strange eyes flicker to mine and I couldn't bring myself to look away. Her golden eyes seemed to swirl with different shades of brown, honey, gold, copper. They are enchanting. My eyes search her face, taking in her beauty. Perfectly arched brows, her jaw is sharp and cheek bones high. Her lips, bright and full, they look soft.

My eyes go lower and then I realize that I am actually checking out a very much taken girl while she's looking at me. While she's sitting with her boyfriend!

Shit.

Looking anywhere but her and ignoring the strange smirk she's giving me, I finally tuned into Alice's voice again. "Well, that was yesterday. I guess it doesn't matter. Now, how about I give you a tour of the house? We've sat here just long enough, huh?" Alice asked. I just nodded, not knowing what that means. Anything to distract me from the Goddess smirking at me from the other couch.

"You coming Rose?" we stood.

"No, I'm going to go out. I'll see you around." She spoke with such a clear tone, just a hint authoritative and rasp that had me begging to hear more. Just looking at her beauty was a lot to handle but with her voice to, I almost fell over as she strode from the room with inhuman grace.

Damn.

"Come on Bells." Alice tugged me upstairs as I realize how fucked I am.
