"Dude, this is so damn good." I uttered with a mouth full of homemade spaghetti that Chimney made us.

"Thanks, man." He smiled after chewing up his food.

We've been pretty dead all day, the only thing we've done is clean the trucks and save a cat from a tree. It was a damn cute cat though. I looked up from my phone as Hen was walking toward the table with her plate.

"How are you and Finn? I haven't talked to her in a while." She said, sitting across from me.

"Everything is going great actually," I smiled thinking of my beautiful girlfriend. "She's been stressing about Brax though, he's been having nightmares every night."

"Oh, poor kid." She said with a sad expression

"Yeah, he's been going to therapy with Finn though." I added. "Not sure if it's helping him much."

"I hope it'll star-" Hen was interrupted by a siren. A tsunami siren.

"Okay everyone get in your gear, we will be going down towards the pier first since that's where it hit the worst." Bobby commanded "We need to limit fatalities so we're going to split up and help as many people as we can get to the crisis center downtown."

I'm so glad that Finn and Brax stayed home today.

"Rebecca, are you two okay?" I asked without even noticing the huge gash on my forearm. She was struggling to keep Hadley's head above water.

"Yeah were both fine, but you aren't." She said pointing to my bleeding arm. I take my cardigan off and rip the sleeve and wrap it tightly around my wound.

I look over and see Braxton holding on to a bar as tight as his little hands could handle. "Baby, are you okay? Does anything hurt?"

I swam over to him and noticed he had a small cut on his face. I immediately grabbed my other sleeve and wrapped it around his head as tight as I could, trying to stop the bleeding.

"It hurts a lot." He cried, tears already streaming down his cheeks.

"I know baby, this will be over soon I promise." I look around to look for something higher up we could sit on. I notice that the game vendor next to us looked pretty stable, and it was pretty high up.

"C'mon follow me." I put Braxton on my back and told him to hold on tight, and led Rebecca towards the roof of the vendor. I climbed to the top, all that terrible hiking with Buck really came in handy. I sat Braxton behind me and reached down to grab Hadley just as the next wave hit.

"Rebecca! Oh my god." I screamed. Luckily I had Hadley in my grasp already. This wave wasn't as strong as the last one so it didn't quite reach the roof we were sitting on. I handed Hadley to Braxton.

"Hold on to her as tight as you can, and wrap your legs around this pole." I said pointing to the pole sticking up through the middle of the roof. "I'll be right back."

I jumped off of the roof into the water below me, trying to suppress my fear of sharks knowing there could be some in the water. But I had to save Rebecca. I swam until I saw her brown hair, seeing her frantically looking around. I swam over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, are you hurt at all?" She turned around and I saw a cut on the side of her neck. "Okay um, my sweater is with Braxton let's go over there." I grabbed her arm and tried to swim but she wasn't moving.

"I think my leg is caught on something, it might be broken." She blurted.

"Okay, I'm gonna go underwater and try to free you but it's going to hurt like hell." I said.

"I've been through childbirth without an epidural, I might be able to handle it." She laughed

I dove under the water and saw that her leg was caught in a car window, with the glass poking into her leg. I kicked more of the window out to release her leg. I don't think it's broken, it was probably just the glass she was feeling. I got out of the water and grabbed her, holdings on as tight as I could.

"C'mon, they're just over there," I said out of breath. I got to the vendor that we were at and hoisted Rebecca up with all my strength, climbing up after her. "Help should be here soon, I don't think there's gonna be anymore big waves after that last one."

God, I hope I'm right.

Hey!! Sorry it took me so long to update, I've been doing school work but it's finally spring break! More updates soon!
