"If you spill that in my car I'll kick your ass!" I screamed at Callie and Alex who were both doing 10 second chugs with the bottles we had stolen from Aiden's. Sara was recording them from the front seat. I then noticed her ass coming towards me and realized she was leaning into the backseat to take the bottle out of Callie's hand. She sat forward in the seat and put the bottles to her lip. I came to a stop at the red light, took the bottle out of Sara's hand and pulled her into me and kissed her. She tasted like Jack Daniels. I heard laughing and then I heard a honk. I pulled back and saw that the light was green. I heard the rest of the girls laughing as I sped off. The funniest part about all of this is that I'm technically still concussed.
We drove about 10 more minutes until we got to the house where the party was. There were a shit ton of cars everywhere and I had trouble finding a place to park. The girls were having a great time laughing about who knows what. I know they weren't drunk. Well Alex might have been, but I've seen Sara out drunk guy twice her size. As for Callie, well I could just tell by the way she was acting that she was okay. I parked the car and everyone stopped to look at me.
"What?" I asked.
"So, what's the plan?" I felt the corners of my lips turn up into an evil little smile.
"This is what we're going to do." I went through my plan and by the end of it, Alex had this look on her face that made me think she was going to make a run for it as soon as I unlocked the doors. Callie wore a devilish little smile that made me laugh. Sara on the other hand was giving me the dirtiest look. I smiled at her and all she did was cock her eyebrow at me. I leaned in and kissed her lips she didn't kiss me back. When I pulled back she pursed her lips and cocked her eyebrow again, but this time she leaned over the center console, wrapped her fingers around my throat and pressed her lips and body into mine. Maybe she was a little more drunk than I thought. I didn't care though. I was enjoying it. It's only been a week since Sara and I were officially back together, and the first few days were stiff and ridged. It was like we were holding something between us trying not to break it. Trying not to get too close. Trying not to break anything. Plus, I've had a concussion and I was still getting headaches.
"Alright let's go." I said still in a daze after Sara took her hand off my neck. I got off the car and walked around to Sara's side to open the door for her. I heard someone say
"Awwww." In a very sarcastic way. I grabbed Sara's phone out of her back pocket and handed it to her.
"Let's get this started." Sara took in a deep breath then opened Snapchat. She took a stuck out her tongue in a sexy way and made sure to get the house in the background of the picture.
"Stop making that face. This is your idea." She said.
"Doesn't mean you have to take sexy ass pictures." I rolled my eyes.
"Are you two done?" Alex asked. She was already ahead of us. I slapped Sara's ass then said
"Okay now I'm done." Alex took a swig out of her bottle and rolled her eyes.
"Alright Callie you're with me. Alex you're on scouting duty and Sara," I winked at her
"You know what to do my love."
I watched as Sara walked to the front door with her own bottle in her hand. Her jeans were skin tight and her ass looked amazing. I wondered if I should really go through with this plan. Sara can take care of herself though. Even if she couldn't I'm going to be around the entire time. Callie and I walked around the back where the rest of the party was. We were wading through people and I honestly hated it, but this was going to be so worth it. In the backyard there was one of those fire pit things that was like built into the ground. Callie and I headed over there and stayed put. We had been standing around the fire talking about the game and different things. Some people kept bumping into me. I didn't see anyone else from the team here. They must have gone to another party or something. Callie was still drinking straight from the bottle. I had my hands the pockets of my blue jean jacket. I still hate parties when Sara's not right next to me.
"How did you even come up with this?" Callie asked after a couple minutes of silence.
"I'm really smart." I shrugged as Callie just laughed.
"Where's Alex?"
"She's in the kitchen. She says Sara's okay, and that she still thinks this is a bad idea." I was looking at the text Alex had sent. She was keeping an eye on Sara for me. Callie took another swig and then looked at me.
"Why are you doing all this for me? I know most of its because he hit on Sara but still."
"You're my friend, and I haven't been a very good one to you even though you've done nothing but help me out. The least I could do is help you get back at this guy. Plus, he hit on my girlfriend." Cal looked down at her rings and started fidgeting with them.
"What happened Cal?"
"He uhh he broke me."
"What do you mean?"
"He made me feel like I was worthless. While we were dating he found out about some things in my past and started a fight with me saying that I was a lying bitch because I didn't tell him about this guy I dated. He said that I should have told him about him even though I broke up with the guy months before I even started talking to Aiden. He said he couldn't even trust me and that I didn't deserve anything better than what he gave me." I felt my blood boiling. I felt like I was burning hotter than the fire.
"Callie you are not worthless. And anyone who made you feel like that does not deserve to have you."
"I know. But it still hurt like hell when he cheated on me and said that I lied first." I was about to go off. I wanted to find this guy and give him a piece of my mind, but before I could say anything I saw some sort of commotion coming towards me and Callie. People were moving out of the way and in the clearing, I saw Alex running towards me terrified and behind her came Sara laughing her ass off with a pile of clothes in her hands. Behind them was Aiden chasing them in nothing but a shower curtain. Alex got to us first and stood in front of Callie. Sara threw the clothes at me and ran behind me. Aiden was still a while away. I looked down at the clothes and then at the fire. Aiden stopped about 5 feet in front of me. He looked like he was going to say something but within a second the clothes were in the fire. He was in such shock that the shower curtain felt to the ground and everyone at this party started laughing. I turned around and kissed Sara on the lips.
"Did he kiss you?"
"I only let him kiss my cheek." She whispered in my ear. She was still hiding behind me with her hands on my shoulders.
"Get ready to run." I whispered back to Sara. Her eyes got wide. I walked over to Aiden who was fumbling around trying to get the shower curtain to cover himself, but when he saw me coming he sort of hesitated, just for a second but it was enough. I grabbed the shower curtain and started running. I heard everyone in the crowd go wild as I ran off as fast as I could. I was tripping on people and the shower curtain but I didn't care. I ran behind Sara with the curtain flying behind me. I threw it aside on the street and opened the car door. Inside the car I held my breath until I put the car in drive and sped out of there. The girls were howling with laughter in the car. It was the perfect plan.
