"Don't be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart."
– Roy T. Bennett
After a moment of awkward silence the reality of the situation finally hit me.
Shit.
I just threw an Alpha across the room and threatened him on his own territory, not to mention he was just trying to protect me.
SHIT.
I stood up straight, retracting my claws and teeth a blush forming on my face. I brought my hands to my mouth in shock.
"Oh my God, Jack I'm so sorry! Are you okay?"
He nodded slowly, eyeing me with wide eyes. We all just stood there in an EXTREMELY awkward silence before Jen thankfully decided to break the tension. Thank god I could almost always count on her to get me out of the awkward shit I was always throwing myself into.
"I'm sorry I interrupted you two, Alpha," She started hesitantly, glancing around the room nervously, playing with her fingers as she attempted not to make eye contact with the potentially explosive alpha. Setting him off right now would be a very very bad idea. "I just came to get my sister here to tell her something. I didn't mean to offend you or her in any way nor did I mean to threaten either of you at all." She finished, giving her best innocent look which was honestly kind of scary.
I really love her but she was more of the resting bitch face, don't fuck with me kind of person, unlike me who was almost the exact opposite. I always looked younger than I am and excessively innocent and sweet. It was kind of annoying because on the rare occasion that I really did get angry no one really took me seriously.
He looked between us with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Well not sister sister like by blood, I just consider her my sister. Like, not just because we're good friends either, but my father is Henry who I'm sure you know took her in. I'm not like Green, I have nothing to do with the Blood Thunder pack I swear! I'M INNOCENT!" She babbled nervously and I had to smack her lightly in the stomach to get her to shut up. "Ya." She finished out nervously, making the entire situation really awkward all over again.
"Alright," Alpha Jack spoke up, smiling tensely, "I'll leave you two to it, see you in training tomorrow." he said before leaving. He looked a little unsure about the whole situation as expected since I threw him across the room by accident but he seemed like he could move past it pretty quickly. Or at least I hope he can.
As soon as the door closed Jen turned to me with GIANT eyes.
"ELLIE MOTHERFUCKING GREEN!" I cringed at her using my full name. I hated being associated with Alpha and Luna Green.
"Oops?" I said softly and she awarded me with a short little yelping sort of screamish grunt.
"YOU HAVE GOT A LOT TO EXPLAIN YOUNG LADY!" I sighed, nodding with a sheepish smile stuck on my face as we sat down.
