Amos and I stepped into the airport and immediately all eyes were on us.All of the women were staring at Amos. I mean, he's tall built and I gotta admit, very attractive. He looked younger than his age because white stags, like werewolves, age much slower. Most living to about 200 years old instead of the usual 75.
Supernatural creatures were naturally more attractive and compelling to humans. We have a sort of glow of power and life that the humans seem to lack, also we're naturally very fit.
I smiled at all of the people that stared at me, even making a few blush. Humans were so funny.
Almost all the men were staring at me with lust in their eyes as well as a few women. This is why most people sprung for private jets and lived in groups away from humans.
Everyone's auras were blindingly purple as they looked at us. I turned off the auras, blocking out the dirty thoughts I was getting bombarded with.
I've heard a lot about humans and seen a few but never this many in one place. It was overwhelming.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see a very confident looking human. I smiled politely.
"Hi?" I asked as he just stared at me in silence. I heard gasps and murmurs all around as everyone stared at the man.
"Hi..."
I stared at him in confusion but still smiled warmly. "Can I help you with something sir?"
He looked a little taken aback by what I said, making me look around in confusion. I caught a few people trying to get a picture of the man next to me.
Okay he was pretty good looking with his tanned skin and tall frame but I still feel like I'm missing something.
"You don't know who I am do you?"
I smiled sheepishly at him, shaking my head.
He stared at me a little shocked but then started chucking a little.
"Well. That's never happened before."
"Do you know who I am?"
He laughed a little shaking his head.
"Then how am I supposed to know who you are?" I asked laughing a little.
"I guess you got me there." He extended his hand.
"Prince Xander Abascal of Spain."
I shook it with a smile. "Ellie Green."
"Well Ellie, where are you headed today?" We started walking towards the line to print my boarding pass.
"England. Amos and I have some business to attend to there." I said, gesturing to Amos who was checking our luggage while I printed our passes.
"I couldn't help but notice your one way ticket."
I laughed a little. "Very observant. After the meetings I'm thinking of visiting my sister Jen and then, just see what I'll do from there."
"So, are you with this... Amos?"
I giggled a little. "Why do you ask?"
His face turned a little red while he shuffled his feet uncomfortably, staring at the ground. I checked his aura and it looked extremely nervous and embarrassed. As panic started to seep in I took over.
"No we're not together. I honestly see him as more of a father figure than a boyfriend. Though, he his single if you're interested."
looked up abruptly. Confusion in his eyes. "What, no- I'm not-"
