Forty-Nine

This week is my last week. I've just finished my letters and will finish handing them out.

like the doctor predicted I'm much weaker. The pills aren't working anymore and the symptoms are hitting me hard.

I can feel my muscles shrinking, deteriorating. My head is now constantly pounding and I am very light-headed. I can feel my heart getting weaker, no longer able to support me.

I can feel my old scars reappearing, littering my skin.

Sarah's wedding is today and as promised I will be her maid of Honor. She's been texting me telling me that she didn't want or need any help planning the wedding, she just wanted my presence.

I was already in Canada and it took me hours to run to the pack. Good thing I had a week to hand out the letters.

I walked onto the pack grounds with a smile on my face. I felt at peace.

I immediately knew that something was off but it didn't faze me, I was curious more than anything else.

I calmly walked through their property, admiring it. Their weirdly empty property. Their property that should be swarming with guests. I walked to the floor field and wasn't even really surprised at what I saw.

There in the middle of the field was Heeler, Jack, Jade and Jasmine. Standing next to them were my parents. Alpha and Luna Green, stoic as always although they seemed a little brighter. Beside them was Jen and Brian. Jen had tears running down her face while Brian tried shushing her. Beside them was Prince Jacob, my mate, smirking away. Beside him was Klaus, looking equally as happy. Next to him, Darius, scowling at me."

At their feet were Donny and Aimoto and his family, tied up and bleeding heavily.

Donny looked like he was bursting with anger, Aimoto and his family calm and collected.

Aimoto slid into my mind, giving me a smile and nod. He saw that I had reached true strength and peace in my mind, his lessons had paid off.

"Well, I'm guessing you all have something to say, so go ahead." I said calmly standing opposite them.

Heeler started, "They payed me a lot if I joined in this." He shrugged, "that's pretty much it." Jasmine, Jade and Jack nodded along

Of course money would drive them, it seems that's all they cares about anymore.

My parents smiled wickedly, "We were called by your mate." My dad said, "I always told you no one would love you but you just had to run away and ruin everyone else's lives." My mother spat out.

Next Jen. "I-I'm so sorry. P-Prince J-Jacob, he threatened me. He said if I didn't tell him everyone you cared about and everyone who hated you he would k-kill my b-baby, I-I'm p-pregnant." She stuttered out, Brian holding her close as she hyperventilated. "They also th-threatened our p-parents."

I smiled at how she call Jammie and Henry our parents, Alpha and Luna Green didn't seem to happy about it though.

"Its okay Jennifer. Please don't cry." Then I smiled, "Congratulations on the baby."

Then Klaus spoke up, smirking, "I don't think I need to tell you why I'm helping Jacob out, do I?"

I sighed, shaking my head but remaining calm, inside and out.

Darius stepped forward, "I gave you everything, all I wanted to do was love you but you left me! FOR HIM!" He said pointing to Klaus who just shrugged happily. "You deserve everything that's coming for you."

Finally Jacob stepped forward, laughing a little.

"You think you can just escape my jails, embarrass me and throw me in a cell for a week without any consequences? I couldn't just kill you, you'll be dead in less than a week either way, so I found everyone that hated you.
