There smiling down at me was Prince Xander Abascal, I forgot he was the prince of Spain, but something felt different about him, he didn't feel human, he had that paranormal glow to him.

"Xander?"

He smiled nodding.

"What are you doing I Spain?" He repeated.

"I came here to keep my sister company while her mate does some business with some people here."

"Is she here? I'd love to meet her."

I shook my head, "No, I'm not sure where she is right now."

He raised his eyebrows questioningly.

"Its complicated."

He nodded in understadning.

"Can I join you on your walk then?"

"Of course."

"So, how do you like Spain so far?"

"Its beautiful." As we walked down the streets everyone was staring at us again. "I'm sorry, but you seem different..."

He laughed a little, "Yes, I'm a werewolf. I cover that up while I'm traveling."

It all made so much more sense now! I was wondering how a human could be so attractive and just generally big and strong.

"That makes so much more sense."

"Are you hungry?"

"I could eat."

"Great, I live near him and I have just made the best paella you've ever had."

He took my hand and had me down a few streets. We were laughing and joking the entire way there. There was just something so likable about him.

He brought me up to a giant castle, making my eyes widen. I completely forgot he was the prince of Spain. Well...

We passed a few guards who bowed to him in respect.

I smiled to each of them as we walked past. I would've stopped and said hi but Xander was pulling me really fast.

"Come one Ellie! The food's gonna get cold!" He started into a run, pulling me behind him giggling.

We came to a GIGANTIC kitchen full of people. As we walked by they bowed deeply, sending me a confused look.

He brought me up to one of the stoves where there was a pot of paella.

He pulled out a little bottle of seasoning out of his pocket.

"We ran out of my favorite seasoning so I ran to the market to get some."

I was surprised that he didn't make some servant or something go for him, hell I was surprised he could cook! He was definitely not what I expected from a prince.

With the whole prince thing I couldn't stop thinking of my mate. He was the prince of somewhere. I honestly knew very little about him... Realization hit me... No, he can't live here. Xander is the prince of Spain, not werewolves.

"So, have you found your mate yet?" I asked curiously while he plated the food for us.

"Not yet." He said dejectedly, "Still waiting."

I nodded.

"Its so annoying, I would kill to find my mate. I would do anything to find her, but when my brother gets gifted with the arrival of his mate he rejects her!" He exclaimed, throwing his arms in the air in frustration.
