I ran for what was probably days, just round and round the earth, honestly it didn't feel big enough anymore.
I haven't done anything but run. I haven't cried I haven't talked I've just been running.
I've been trying to get my pain and frustration out but it doesn't seem to be working. I've reached 610,000,000 mph. Considering the speed of light is 670,616,629 mph, I'd say I'm running pretty fast.
Finally I decided that this wasn't working.
I ran to the very top of Everest, sitting at the highest point in the world. My ears adjusted very quickly, letting me sit and take in the view.
I started my breathing exercises, watching the beautiful scenery.
It may have been cold but I couldn't feel it. I couldn't feel anything but anger.
In through the nose, 1... 2... 3... 4... 5...
Hold, 1... 2... 3... 4... 5...
Out through the mouth, 1... 2... 3... 4... 5...
Repeat.
Thoughts of what Klaus said kept coming back to me.
Memories came swarming back to me,
**** 5 years early****
"Ellie! Get down here NOW!"
I rushed down, not wanting to anger my masters.
My mother and father were standing there, a whip in my mom's hand and brass knuckles on my dad's.
"Go to you place." My father ordered.
I walked outside to my platform.
My mother and father following closely behind.
I knelt by the post, they didn't even both tying me up anymore, I know to stay put.
My father punched my in the ribs, not doubt cracking some of them.
"Wh-why do you do this?" I finally found the courage to ask.
Alpha Green growled loudly, punching me harder than before.
"You're a runt, a curse to this pack."
My mother stepped in, whipping me. "You're an ungrateful deformation, no one could ever love you. You're lucky we've been so good to you."
I nodded my head, letting them finish letting out today's frustrations.
**** Present moment****
My mind wandered over to the white stags, I could use some wisdom from Rose right now.
I ran right over, right to her flower shop where she was tending to her gorgeous lilies.
