KRISTIE'S POV
"Welcome to The Coco Monkey Nuts weekly meeting," Kent began.
"And that is the outcome of poor creativity. Did Kristie come up with that?" Miss P asked viciously.
Poor creativity is the clown make up on your face
"People will love it as much as they loved 'Milky Penny', 'Hymn for The Burrito' and 'Galaxy dove,'" Kent was more than confident about this.
That was true. I couldn't think of a movie directed and produced by The Starks Alley that didn't impress anyone. Even the internet trolls knew that.
"I can't believe he's late," Kent murmured to himself.
Just then, there was a loud bang at the door as it opened. A young man dressed in a polo shirt and beach shorts came in the room with a wide smile plastered on his face. OMG... KELLY STARKS!!
"The Tiger of The Mountains of Caucasus is back!" he said removing his sun glasses and throwing them on the table.
I couldn't believe I was in the same room with Kelly Starks! I've been watching him on TV since I was a kid. He was a really good actor.
"You must not bask in old glory, it might be your last," Kent said firmly.
"The traffic out there is crazy dad!" He said, taking the seat next to me. I tried not to stare at him but that was close to impossible.
His skin is literally glowing and his hair is a perfect colour black
His mere presence made my heart race and he hadn't even talked to me.
"We need each other to be in the lime light yet again," Kent began, looking at Kelly, "Everyone needs to be serious and be punctual for every meeting."
"The script writing department is ready with scene one," Jerry said, handing Kent sheets of paper.
"Now I need characters," Kent said.
"I want the main role," Kelsie shouted from the other end of the table.
"Call me when we start practice, I'm out. hu" Kelly said jumping out of his seat.
"Actually I need to see you, and Kristie," Jerry said.
Shit
Kelly went quickly and I tried to walk without shaking because of my unsteady heels and also due to fear.
"Nice to meet you Kristie," Kelly said in a warm innocent voice.
I just nodded and smiled.
Say something Kristie!!
"It's an honour to finally meet you. Not that I've been stalking you or anything."
Stop talking Kristie!!
"I mean, that would be so weird and..."
"I get it," Kelly cut me off. I'm glad he did. What the fuck was I saying??! I obviously creeped him out and now he thinks I'm a weird crazed stalker fan.
Jerry talked to Kelly first in private then he left.
"You'll be in charge of scene two and I need it by the end of the week," Jerry said, "I will help you with anything you need."
"I'll have it by then," I reassured him.
Kent at the next seat and I really needed to talk to him.
"Kristie!" He exclaimed as I walked to his desk, "Have you been informed about scene two?"
"Yes. I'll start working on it right away. I have an issue I need to address first."
"Talk to me."
"I hate my apartment," I said bluntly, "I need to move."
"Wait what? I thought I provided the best there is."
"Crammer West isn't a place I'd describe using best."
"That's an awful place. I would never let any of my employees stay there. I thought Kelsie chose something better. She assured me that you'd love what she chose for you."
Kelsie? She chose that apartment?
"What do you mean?"
"She was in charge of your housing."
"I don't like it there."
"I'm afraid I can't help you with that. I've already paid for your rent for the next year. You can move out but I won't cater for your rent. There are no refunds."
"Kent, please. I wasn't involved in this. There has to be another way."
"I'm sorry Kristie," he said as he stood from his seat, "There's nothing I can do." He then left me there, hopeless.
Kelsie... That bitch!
