KRISTIE'S POV

I had saved up enough cash to get the right dress and boots and I was excited about it. I had planned to pick it up on my way to The Starks Alley. Kelly was coming to pick me up as he did every morning and evening. I told him about how I landed in Crammer West and he had offered many times to get me another apartment, but I didn't want to use him like that.

We drove to N Mart to get my dress and boots. No one really knew what N stood for but it was catchy.

"If you won't let me buy you such things then what's my role as your boyfriend," Kelly retorted as he held my peach dress and black boots.

"Fake boyfriend, Kelly. Now look away as I change." I got into the backseat and he started driving.

"Well my dad is buying it. He's so happy I'm dating."

"I don't want to imagine what will happen once he finds out we're just pretending."

"You know, you don't have to mention that every time. I know you're way out of my league."

What did he say?

"You're Kelly Starks. Do you know how many girls would kill for you? Hell even men would die for you!" This didn't really seem to bother him. He was used to it, and he knew it.

"We're here." Kelly parked the car and he got out of the vehicle. He opened my door for me.

"Damn," he said as he looked at me, "This dress looks great on you. No one could ever wear it better than you."

"I feel flattered," I blushed.

"That's what a fake boyfriend would want you to feel."

Ouch

"Looks like we're here early." I realized that there were a few cars in the parking lot. It is usually overflowing with cars and I mean serious cars like jeeps, sportscars... big cars owned by big people.

Kelly quickly held my waist and it startled me.

"I'm glad to see you both here so early!" Kent said enthusiastically. He always seemed happy as he was always the man of the hour, "Miss P is waiting inside."

Great. What a way to spoil my mood.

We indeed found Miss P inside and she was... smiling.

"I knew you'd get here so early being the uptight girl that you are," she said, "I have chosen you to read today's speech. Here it is." She handed me the sheet of paper, "Go through it and get ready."

"I'm honored. But I have to ask, why me?"

"You have earned it. You have always been up to the task and you did your job even when I wasn't the best person to you."

You were a bitch, bitch.

"That means a lot coming from you. Thanks." I read through the speech and my heart started racing and beating hard. I was nervous and I wiped my sweaty palms with a handkerchief from my bag. By this time, many people had arrived at The Starks Alley and the event was about to begin.

"Calm down," Kelly reassured me and he held my hand and my shoulder then he slowly came behind me. He then sang Dusk till Dawn by SIA and Zayn Malik and the feeling was electrifying. His voice calmed my nerves and I felt I could read out this speech to the whole world.

"That was beautiful," I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back.

"Now get out there and make KK proud."

"Who is KK?"

"Kristie and Kelly." I only smiled at him. He was too adorable for a fake boyfriend.

I got on the dais and there was the entire industry, waiting for me to deliver my speech.

"Thank you all for being here on time." They clapped for me, probably to cheer me on and I even noticed Kelsie clapping for me with a smile on her face. She was happy for me and I loved her for that. I could have sworn we had the same outfit on. Maybe we would be forever twinzies. I closed my eyes and remembered Kelly's voice in my ear and I got the energy to continue.

My speech was fairly short and I could tell it was well done by the thunderous applause that followed.

Kent got on the dais and he came to where I was.

"You will pull that rope and reveal the cover of the new movie to the people." I was clearly not expecting this but that was a great opportunity. This was because Khloe Starks and Jerry joined us on the dais so it was a big deal.

I pulled the rope and the curtains revealed the cover of the movie. It was a picture of our main actors; Kelly and Kristie and it was received by a great applause from the people present.

"Look at the 'directed by' category," Jerry whispered to me.

I glanced at the cover and MY name was right under Clooney!! I had been acknowledged as a director in this movie! I nearly cried because I was overwhelmed and when I couldn't hold it back anymore, I let it all out.

That night was indeed, full of surprises. I just wish I stayed at home to avoid finding out what else was in store for me.
