KRISTIE'S POV

"I'll have to disagree with you on that.... No... That is double the price you bought her with... I don't care if it's bigger now, it's the same dog...No you listen to me...ARGH!" I threw my phone because I was pissed. Thank God it landed on the sofa.

I was on the phone with Mr. Lowski, yes, Paige's dad. Turns out he bought Lindsey! It's like this girl just won't let me live my life!

The reason I called today wasn't because I had the money, oh no. It was because MY dog was under PAIGE'S rules. That can't be good. She must be cold, and hungry and suffering!! Paige probably dyed her fur grey too, or some bright freaky shade of red.

My phone started ringing from the coach. I guess Mr. Lowski changed his mind.

"Kristie!" It was Kent's voice," I know you're fine, alive and kicking! Obviously, because you answered my call. Now, come to The Starks Alley right away. There are new foreign minds coming on board to learn more about the entertainment industry and I want you to be here for this!!" He then hang up.

I arrived at The Starks Alley as soon as I could and headed to the boardroom.

"As you all know, we are expecting new faces today from all over the world including Brazil, China, Mexico and Africa!" I entered as Kent was speaking.

Africa is a frigging continent you nitwit.

"Let me call them in," he said as he was making a phone call.

"Kristie! Glad you could make it. I have news for you," Jerry said in a calm yet excited tone.

"Okay..."

"We, the head editors, have decided to put you in charge of the script of The Coco Monkey Nuts!! Walk with me."

He said it so casually that I almost missed the exciting news. How did this happen?!

"Everybody loved what you presented for scene two. Your version was the best and we have chosen you to take charge of script writing until the movie is wrapped up. This is with close supervision of course." By this time, Jerry and I were outside the boardroom so I jumped up in excitement and disbelief. He then went back inside as I went into the ladies' washroom so I could scream and just let it all out.

"Hey is everything okay on there???" I heard a man's voice outside the washroom.

I slowly opened the door, slightly embarrassed. The first think I glanced at was his fizzy hair and sparkling white teeth.

"I heard screaming and I thought someone was dying," the young man chuckled.

"Everything's fine," I smiled at him.

"Kristie?" He asked, unsure if he was right.

I didn't realise I'd become famous this soon

"It's me, Izzy. From Poland." He seemed very amused.

OMG

"I had no idea you were coming!" I said hugging him tightly, "Um...Sorry, for that. What are you doing in Australia?"

God his hair

"I'm part of the ongoing program hosted by The Starks Alley. I was hoping to find you here."

"I'm glad that you're a part of it." I was trying my best not to stare at him. This was a different Izzy, not the one I left in Poland.

"How about some coffee some time? For old times sake," he said, scratching his head nervously, like he used to.

I thought you'd never ask

"That would be lovely," I answered calmly.

"Great. Lemme get to the boardroom where the rest are," he then smiled and left.

I shouldn't be drooling over boys while I still had my loyal, perfect man. I mean, he's perfect, isn't he? Yeah.

I was supposed to go back to the boardroom as well, but I couldn't handle being in the same room as Izzy at the moment. I left The Starks Alley immediately and headed home, at the shitty apartment.

I found Mr. Haymahn seated on the stairs. He seemed devastated.

"What if, you were running away from something, but you know the time has come to stop running?" He asked me.

"What are you talking about?"

"I know what must be done." He then stood from the stairs and went to his apartment.

"Okay. I've seen enough today."
