KELSIE'S POV
"I knew trouble was here when you showed up. Now I'm bound to be hunted down!!"
"I don't want to be here either! Don't blame me monkey boy!"
"Cut!" Clooney, the director, shouted for the tenth time.
"I don't understand. I did it perfectly this time!" My patience was running out, fast.
"Well, do it again!" The director commanded.
"I'm taking a break. We've done this scene so many times. Kelsie is just a bad actress," Kelly said bluntly, walking away.
"Thank you for the support Kelly!" I said sarcastically.
"What are cousins for?" Kelly smiled at me before leaving.
"I'm leaving too," I said.
"No. You still need to work on your acting," Clooney said.
"Let's do it tomorrow."
"It's been a week Kelsie; we're not making progress." I wasn't willing to listen to him. My acting was great. He was the one who was bad at directing.
"Let me have a moment with her," Kent said.
"You need to start getting serious, Kelsie. No one forced you to play this role, but I may be forced to take it away from you."
"I'm entitled to this role and I'll prove it to you!" I shouted. I walked quickly to the coffee maker to get some coffee. I noticed that Kristie and Clooney were laughing with each other.
"It's a wrap!" Kristie shouted excitedly.
"I see an upcoming director," Clooney told her.
"Or a CEO perhaps," Jerry added.
She was taking all the credit from them while she had done nothing, nothing!
"This 'CEO' has some paper work to get to," Miss P told her, pointing at a nearby desk.
Exactly her purpose here.
I noticed Kristie had been avoiding my calls, texts and my mere presence at The Starks Alley. She's still my best friend. We've been through so much and I do care about her to this day.
"Kelsie Starks?" A short man with blonde hair came up to me.
"If is about the milk in your fridge just know that it wasn't me. I didn't take it," I said throwing my hands in the air.
"What?" He was clearly confused.
"Uh... How can I help you?"
"I'm Ty, your fashion designer/personal assistant. We need to leave right now. We have a photoshoot at 3 and you simply cannot go dressed like that," he said touching my vest and letting go of it as if it were a piece of junk.
"Come along," Ty said walking out.
"Sweeeeeeet," I said with a tingle of excitement.
