KRISTIE'S POV
I'm definitely not a stalker but I couldn't help conducting a background check on Monic. Let's admit it, I wouldn't be a normal ex girlfriend if I didn't. I tried searching for her on Facebook first.
Immediately I entered her name, thousands of Monics appeared on my laptop.
Why didn't I think of this!
Of course there are other Monics!! I decided to search for Izzy instead. I saw a post of them both celebrating their second anniversary about a month ago.
Cute.
She was Monic Hart, aged twenty, loves dogs but extremely allergic to them and is in a relationship with Izzy. I needed some dirt but I knew I couldn't find this on that platform. I searched for her on Tinder, Planet of Fish and basically any dating sites I could find.
Surely this girl can't be an angel
I would find a personal detective to do a thorough back ground check on her, and no, I'm not crazy. I just want the best for Izzy.
"What are you up to?" Kelly came out of nowhere and tried to take my laptop.
"Nothing!" I said, quickly taking my laptop.
"What are you hiding Kristie?"
"I don't want you or anyone else to see the new scenes that I've typed."
"Oh. Well I can't wait to get in character for you."
What?
"I mean, for the script written by you." Did Kelly Starks just... no way.
"I'm honored to have you as one of my characters. You know, I have a lot of power over you," Kelly looked at me as I talked, "I can make you do whatever I want you to."
"I love women in control."
We both chuckled.
In the same boardroom, Ty walks in.
KELSIE'S POV
"Girl when I went back to your house, no one was home," Ty said in his squeaky voice, throwing up his dainty little arms.
"You need to chill," I said in a calm voice. I was looking at Kristie talking to my cousin, Kelly, across the room through my sun glasses.
"You look shady."
"Because I'm in shades duh."
"Take them off and give them to me," he said, stretching his hand out.
"He's such a flirt. She doesn't know what she's getting herself into," I said, still looking at Kristie and Kelly.
"Have you talked to her?"
"No."
"You will after I tell you what I saw at the store that day."
"What?" I knew he was going to tell me about some shoes he bought so I wasn't that interested.
"Dale. I saw Dale. With some other girl with chicken legs!" He said in his high pitched voice meaning he was angry.
"That's nice."
"They kissed right in front of me!" Now this definitely caught my attention. I dragged him to a corner so that no one could hear us.
"Are you serious?"
"About the chicken legs? YES! She wanted to take your dress from me and girl you should have been there to see just how bitchy I got when she..."
"Is this the girl?" I showed him a picture of Paige on my phone.
"YES!!" He shouted, jumping as if he had just won the lottery. We had the attention of half of the people in the boardroom.
"Sorry," Ty whispered, "We have to tell Miss Kristie right now."
"No. No one will tell her about what happened."
"Yeah! Let's expose this son of a... what did you say?"
"You heard me!!Don't tell her. It's not up to you."
"Her man is trash and we have evidence to prove it."
"You have evidence?"
"Yeah. Right here on my phone."
"Well get rid of it as soon as possible." Ty seemed shocked at this.
"Okay." I knew he had more to say.
"You work for me. So if you say a word to her, get ready to pack your bags and leave The Starks Alley. He stood there in disbelief before he fixed his glasses, took in a deep breath and fastened his tie.
"Can I have those sun glasses now?"
"No. I'm a mess." I slid the shades to the tip of my nose and Ty shrieked, "I might have had a few more bottles after you left yesterday."
They both chuckled.
