Hi guys!! Short chapter ahead. Sorry for the inconsistency lately... I have been typing this chapter for weeks now but I am getting back on track and adjusting my schedule. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!! :)

"I thought you help people. That's why this is a hospital!"

"You need to understand that cases like yours have to be dealt with at the reception, sir."

"I surely don't know where that is," Ty retaliated.

"Follow me," the nurse said, seeing that Ty was angry with her. He turned back at Kelsie and Kristie and gave them a thumbs up as he left with the nurse.

"Is Mr. Haymahn really your dad?" Kristie whispered.

"I would never lie about that. He told me himself on the day we found Monic in his apartment."

They managed to get into Mr. Haymahn's room where he was seated, reading a magazine.

"You housed my kidnapper you traitor!!" Kristie said, taking away his magazine and ripping it apart.

"Kristie I need you to be calm, please," Kelsie begged her.

"Are you really going to defend him?? He is a criminal and defending him makes you one too!" Kristie yelled.

"Keep it down," Kelsie whispered, "Look, I know I haven't been in your good books for a very long time but please, Kristie, you have to trust me on this." Kristie noticed the sincerity in her tone and the desperation in her eyes. She withdrew her wrath and stepped back.

Kelsie quickly went to Mr. Haymahn, her father as she had discovered earlier.

"I'm so glad to see you," Mr. Haymahn said.

"Are you?"

"For someone who tried to kill himself, I thought I'd never see you again so yes , Kelsie, I am glad to see you."

"Don't joke about that," Kelsie said seriously,"Why did you do that?" Mr. Haymahn was clearly not ready to talk about it.

Is it that bad that I know you are my father? Do you hate me that much?"

"No Kelsie. There is not a day in my life that I did not think about you. I wanted to come visit you but I couldn't."

"Why?" Kelsie asked. Her question was followed by pure silence and she reminded Mr. Haymahn that they didn't have much time.

"I lost custody over you and your mom filed for a restraining order against me. She made sure I would never see you."

"We met so many times when I came to see Kristie but you said nothing!" Kelsie was quickly losing it.

"If I did, I would be dead right now. That's why I jumped out that window because I already told you who I really am."

"Who will kill you?" Kristie asked.

"It's Kent, isn't it?" Kelsie asked, with fear in her voice, "That's why you used to live in his apartments for free huh."

"What are you talking about?" Kristie asked her.

"There's no way he could afford to stay in those apartments. You don't have an actual job and that's how Kent bought your silence."

Mr. Haymahn only smiled and said, "I wish I saw you grow into the intelligent girl I see now."

"Why are you girls in here?" The nurse asked furiously as she entered the room. Ty was right beside her and he whispered a 'sorry' to them.

"We were just leaving," Kelsie said, walking out quickly.

"I don't get it," Kristie said as they proceeded to the car.

"It's about to get uglier."
