KRISTIE'S POV

"You're the only one who's been supportive lately," I told Dale as I swallowed my last meatball.

"You know I'll always be there for you. It's a shame I'm not allowed on set, I'd be there every single day."

"Yeah. You should see Kelsie's bad acting."

Dale remained silent then he asked, "Is something wrong between you two?"

"She sabotaged me! She's the reason I live in this dump instead of a decent home."

"Kelsie would never..."

"And as usual, you defend each other."

"Hey just take a breath," he said, holding me in his arms, "Have you talked to her about this?"

"No."

"You should. There has to be a misunderstanding somewhere."

Just then, there was a knock on the door. I went to open it and there was the perfect best friend of mine.

"I bought groceries!!" She exclaimed.

"You didn't have to."

"I don't mind actually."

"I'll make sure to pay you as soon as I earn my salary."

"Hey, it's okay," she said, touching me with her filthy hands, "Dale!! What's up? I haven't seen you in a long time!" She said, hugging Dale.

I left them talking as I went to the kitchen. I just couldn't stand her!
I threw the groceries in the trash immediately. Just then, there was another knock at the door. It was Mr. Haymahn.

"I'm here to fix the clog in the bathroom," he said, too excited for someone who's fixing a clog.

"Come in. This is Dale Bryce and Kelsie Starks."

"You make such a cute couple!!" He remarked. If only he knew how awkward he made it for everyone.

"Right this way, Mr. Haymahn," I said, leading him to the bathroom.

"I really like seeing young people in love," he said. I know he was just trying to make a conversation but he was pissing me off.

"Dale is MY boyfriend and Kelsie is my best friend."

"Oh," he said awkwardly., "You said she was from the Starks family?"

"Yep," I said. I realized the house was awfully quiet. I went to check on them, but it seems that they had already left.

So she gets me a crappy apartment and she leaves with my boyfriend??

I decided to make some tea to calm my nerves and also to thank Mr. Haymahn for his work. Just as I was about to set the table, I found him cleaning the living room.

"You didn't have to do that."

"No, it's okay! I really don't mind." He was an ever enthusiastic man. I set the table and we had tea till the end of that day.
