KELSIE'S POV

Tonight was all about me and how good of an actress I was. I played a huge role and everybody knew it. I had so many scenes where I had to cry, and I know Kristie did that on purpose to make me look bad but I still did it. I mean, it's not easy to cry on command.

I have been planning for this party for days and finally, I get to rock the peach dress and black ankle boots. I looked so unique in it and I knew no one else could ever wear it better.

My Uber was arriving in a few minutes. I wasn't in the mood to drive myself there because I definitely wasn't going to drive back. My mom was already at The Starks Alley so I was going to meet her there.

I made my appearance later on and everybody looked lively.

"Welcome to the party," Ty said, handing me a brochure, "This is the programme." I gave it to some guy as we walked with Ty.

"I don't need that." I wasn't going to read a bunch of words at a party. I already had enough lines crammed from the script. This is time to relax and celebrate!

"Okay. Our table is right this way."

"Our?" I laughed at Ty, "I like that joke." He frowned at me but brushed it of quickly with a smile.

"I'm kidding... I'm kidding!" I said to cheer him up. There were no seats because it was going to be a short ceremony.

"Thank you all for being here on time." Is that Kristie?

I looked at the dais and I indeed saw Kristie smiling widely as people clapped for her. I saw her looking at me and I forced a smile as I clapped with the rest.

This cannot be...

She was wearing my dress!! My beautiful peach dress and black boots!! That was strike one.

She gave a short speech and I must say, I did not expect this. Why did no one consult me on this? Why did no one ask me to read out the speech? I was the main actress in this movie!! That was strike two.

"Thank you once more!" She said as she closed her speech. I didn't even hear anything. Maybe that's because she isn't as eloquent as a main actress would be. She's a writer. She should stay behind the scenes just like the rest.

"I can tell you're not happy about Miss Kristie," Ty said.

"Don't be silly," I brushed him off, "We're on good terms now and I you're wrong about that."

Kent whispered a few words to her and her expression clearly showed that she wasn't expecting what was about to happen next.

My mom joined them on the dais and Jerry did too.

Kristie then pulled a rope hanging from the ceiling and the curtains beside them revealed the cover of the movie. A picture of Kelly and I were on the cover, obviously. I could also see our names and that was satisfying, without doubt.

Everyone in the room applauded the great work done on the cover.

"You look great in that photo," Izzy told me. He was with Monic on the table that was next to us.

"Thank you so much!" I smiled at him.

"Is that Kristie's name?" Monic asked.

I turned and searched for it on that cover.

"I can't believe it! Miss Kristie is a director!" Ty shouted happily.

No, she's NOT!

"You have to admit, she really did a great job," Izzy said.

No, she did NOT!

Her name was under the 'directed by' category and she was right under Director Clooney; one of the best directors in Australia. That was strike three and that means I'm out!

I left the room quickly and Ty followed me closely behind.

"Let's go to that party right now."

"The movie launch is almost over."

"I said NOW." Ty clearly didn't understand my urgency at that moment.

He quickly called a cab for us and we left immediately.
