KRISTIE'S POV
"I'm not rusty, it's only been a month."
"So much was done in that month and you're way behind." Jerry handed me so many documents containing what was done in just a month.
"That's because none of you were picking my calls or answering my texts."
"I'm sorry. Instructions from Miss P." Jerry was a nice guy and I knew that he was being truthful.
I had been suspended for a month because I was found in possession of an alcoholic drink on set. This was to teach me a lesson so that I wouldn't repeat it. It was a great policy, except, I didn't learn anything from it. You only get to learn from your mistakes and this wasn't mine.
I met Monic on the hallway and she seemed happy to see me. She was smiling widely and it was genuine.
"About 39% of the youth in Australia succumb to alcoholism and they never realize their full potential."
Wtf???
My private investigator got in touch with me and he did find some dirt on her. She had a criminal record on cyber bullying a young girl, who wound up committing suicide. She got jail time for seven months and did some community service for five months and two days.
"Nice to see you too Monic," I smiled at her as I entered the boardroom.
I'm back bitches
Izzy smiled. He seemed glad to see me. He was the only one who would check up on me to ensure that I was still sane. Furthermore, he believed I was innocent.
"I told you this would be over soon," he said, taking my documents and placing then on a desk.
"People are still staring." Indeed they were. It's like they thought I'd never come back. My eyes locked with Kelsie's who was with her minion, Ty. She was definitely set out to ruin my life here, at The Starks Alley. I wouldn't let that happen.
"Focus on you. They won't know what hit them," he kept on encouraging me.
"Izzy I need you now!" Monic called him. She obviously didn't like the fact that we had history together. I know my presence made her feel insecure.
After Izzy left, I started to do what I do best. Well, after second best after writing.
"Kelsie," even her name tasted of deceit, "You're up. Get in character NOW."
"Look who came back with quite the energy!" Clooney appeared.
"I am well rested and I have never been ready to work as I am now," I said confidently.
"Do your thing, co director."
Co director? I LOVE the sound of that!
